KARA is selected as a model for Japanese drink


KARA is also effective in advertising world in Japan.

KARA will be a model for ‘Drinking Hongcho’ in Japan from August. In July, after KARA made a contract, sales have increased 10 times for last month.

The company, Chungjungwon’s official said, “Unlike Japanese Idol Groups’ girlish image, KARA is know for their hip dance, so they can deliver the key words, ‘skin’ and ‘keeping in shape’, for Hongcho. We are targeting Japanese women in their early 20s and 30s and they will reach consensus on KARA.

The company also said, besides the TV commercial, they will have a variety promotions for Hongcho, including an event with KARA’s concert and signing event.

Through KARA, Chungjungwon is anticipating to increase the sales and raise their brand awareness in Japan.

Meanwhile, KARA will make their comeback in Korea this fall.
