SHINee and f(x)’s Victoria get classy and sexy for ‘High Cut’

SHINee and f(x)‘s Victoria had fans doing a double take as they took on a classier image for their latest ‘High Cut‘ pictorial!

SHINee effortlessly pulled off the ‘handsome male idol’ concept with their suits and ties, yet leaving their chests bare foregoing their shirts. Minho and Victoria also became the ultimate eye-candy couple with their back hug pictorial that left fans awed at their visuals, while also a bit jealous.

The labelmates who’ve known each other since prior to their debut also opened up about the changes they’ve noticed in each other through the interview. Victoria shared, “When I look back, they’ve all become more mature. At the time, all of the members seemed like cute dongsengs but they’re men now.” SHINee also revealed Victoria’s transformation as they said, “Victoria used to only able to say ‘Hello, I am Victoria’, but she can speak Korean so well now. This is the power of broadcasts.”

Taemin also revealed the group’s intense workouts for the “Dream Girl” choreography, “Prior to learning the choreography, we worked on our stamina. The choreographer would make the hyungs do a warm up with push ups saying, ‘You have to do this in order to carry out the choreography’, and we did 100 push ups daily.”

Minho reflected on how they changed since their debut sharing, “We’ve worked on becoming more comfortable on stage. When I look at our videos at the start of our debut, I look at us and think we’re cute.” Key added, “I can’t get myself to watch those videos. I start to feel the anxiety I used to feel before going on stage telling myself, ‘You can’t mess up. You have to perform well.’”

Unfortunately it seems Jonghyun was also absent from this pictorial due to his nose injury. We hope to see him back soon towards the latter half of SHINee’s promotions at least for their upcoming album, which will be revealed on the 29th.

SHINee to return with ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me’ on the 29th

SHINee is returning to you once more with the second part of their album!

As mentioned previously, the group’s third album was split into two parts. The first part was released in February and was titled ‘Chapter 1. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You’. Although it was previously announced that the second part would drop in April, the specific date wasn’t confirmed, until now that is!

SM Entertainment revealed on the 17th that the boys, unfortunately with the exception of Jonghyun, will soon be returning with the release of the latter half, which has been renamed from ‘Chapter 2. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of Me’ to ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me‘. The release will take place on April 29th!

The boys will promote as four members in the beginning due to Jonghyun’s injury. SM commented,“Jonghyun was discharged from the hospital last weekend, and until he is fully healed, he’ll be focusing on treatments.”

Taemin goes skiing for the first time in Switzerland on ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day’

SHINee‘s Taemin went skiing for the first time in his life on ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘!

The variety series aired its final episode on the 16th, and the episode featured the maknae trying out skiing for the first time in Jungfrau, Switzerland. Even though he’d never tried it before, when he was first renting the skis, he told the ski employee, “I’ve done it before“, and showed no fear for skiing at all.

However, he showed off some skill on the skis even though it was his first time, and the staff couldn’t believe that it was only his first time trying. He learned by watching the other skiers, and even got to be better than some of the other staff members by the end. Check out his awesome skiing skills below!

SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Naeun to be the next ‘We Got Married’ couple

It has been reported that SHINee’s Taemin and A Pink’s Son Naeun will be joining as a new couple on the MBC series, ‘We Got Married’.

After the reports of Kwanghee - Sunhwa couple leaving the show, Taemin and Son Naeun will reportedly be getting married on the virtual reality program to fill the place of the previous idol couple.

According to multiple broadcast industry insiders, “They began shooting for the show on April 17 at Jeju Island in a cafe from the movie ‘Architecture 101’. Neither of the two idols have dating experience, and although this isn’t real, this will be their first relationship.”

Taemin and Na Eun will become the youngest couple in ‘We Got Married’ history.

4minute releases image teasers for comeback

Counting down to their much-awaited comeback, 4minute has just unveiled their first set of individual image teasers.

Released by Cube Entertainment on April 17th, the teasers show 4minute members in a dark and mysterious setting with a glowing flowers and leaves decorating the backdrop.

4minute’s comeback date is penciled in as April 25th, which makes it exactly one year since their last Korean release, ‘Volume Up’. It is said that the concept will be as strong and as powerful as their concept during their debut days.

The members contributed a lot to this upcoming album, participating in making the choreography, styling and even composing their own songs. They will be coming back with an upgraded concept and stage with this album.

KARA’s Seungyeon measures her head with toilet paper?

KARA‘s Seungyeon caught people’s attention with her small head once again. On the recent episode of SBS‘ ‘Animal Farm‘, the MCs measured her head size with toilet paper.

MC Kim Saeng Min stated, “A person can be said to have a small head if they can successfully wrap their head around with 5 pieces of toilet paper.” He then measured his own head in a very confident manner, but failed the task.

Then MC Shin Dong Yeob suggested measuring Seungyeon’s head instead. In the end, the MCs only had to use four and a half pieces of toilet paper to wrap the circumference of her head.

Netizens commented, “Her head is so small,” “Eyes, nose, and lips are all on that tiny face,” and “I think a small head is something you have to be born with.”
