T-ara’s subunit to go for a hip hop style?

T-ara‘s Hyomin was recently spotted doing some heavy duty shopping for what seems to be all for the launch of her upcoming subunit!

Hyomin joined their stylists for the trip, and unlike the very first report regarding the subunit, ‘Dispatch‘, who followed the idol around, suggests that the unit may be taking on a different style than what you’d expect with T-ara – going for more hip hop judging by the items she picked out.

The idol helped pick out clothes and accessories while strolling around shops in Omotesandō, Harajuku, and Shibuya during her stay in Japan, visiting famous shops that celebrities frequent.

As mentioned previously the four girls (Jiyeon, Hyomin, Eunjung, and Areum) have already begun preparing for their MV, and their debut date is aimed for the end of April or the beginning of May according to music insiders.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and f(x)’s Luna to sing OST for ‘The Croods Family’

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and f(x)’s Luna will be releasing their first duet single as part of the soundtrack for the 3D animated film, ‘The Croods Family’.

The two SM Entertainment artists will be lending their voices for the song titled, “Shine Your Way”. The song, originally by Owl City, features beautiful and soft melodies, and will highlight the voices of the two vocalists of their respective groups.

“Shine Your Way” will be the official soundtrack for the movie ‘The Croods Family’, which will be released in theatres across South Korea on May 16th.

f(x)'s Victoria updated her Me2day on 8th April. 

She wrote,'Amazing ~f(x)~ New Zealand gogogo~." and revealed a photo taken with maknae Krystal.

Jonghyun finally came back to Twitter!

Ever since his unfortunate car accident, the SHINee member has been missing in action from his trolling ways much to the dismay of his fans.

However, as Jonghyun celebrates his birthday on April 8, his fans took the extra step and successfully trended the hashtag #종현아생일축하해 (#Jonghyun happy birthday) to the #1 spot. The trend remained within the top 5 for the next four hours, and Jonghyun logged into his account to thank his fans!

He wrote, “Everyone, thank you for congratulating me. People just live by being sad, being hurt, being tired, being angry, being happy, healing, enjoying life, and laughing.. Even if I’m hurting and tired, I heal and am happy because of all of you. Even if I’m sad and angry, I’m happy and laughing because of you. I’ll give back as much as I received. I know I’m always lacking, but… Thank you! He.”

A ‘rage virus’ takes over the world on ‘Running Man’

In the year 2013, a deadly ‘rage virus’ has taken over the planet, voiding the world of laughter. As the last remaining members of humanity to not have been infected with the virus, the ‘Running Man‘ cast members were tasked with going into the last remaining virus-free zone on the planet and retrieving the vaccine that could cure them all.

However, there was soon more to the episode than met the eye, as one by one, they became infected with the virus due to an unknown assailant. The surviving members grew suspicious of a ‘spy’ in their midst – especially towards Yoo Jae Suk, who had a prior reputation of reversals.

The truth was, however, Yoo Jae Suk had been given a secret mission: there was someone amongst themselves who were spreading the virus, and passing him or herself off as his alter ego, ‘Yoomes Bond’, in the process.

Given his usual arsenal of high-powered H2O high-velocity ejection devices (or water guns), Yoomes Bond set out on his mission to find out who was sullying his name and trying to destroy the world of laughter.

However, it was only after half of the cast members were infected that Yoo Jae Suk finally figured out the truth: it was Song Ji Hyo who had been undermining the mission, having been given a secret task beforehand to infect everyone without their knowledge.

When only the two secret agents remained, Yoo Jae Suk eventually triumphed over the betrayer, putting a thrilling end to the latest episode of the ‘Yoomes Bond’ series.

Kang Min Kyung shares a difficulty she faces as a ballad singer

Davichi member Kang Min Kyung shared a difficulty she faces being a ballad singer.

Davichi appeared as guests on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘ on April 5th to promote their second full length album.  During the show, Kang Min Kyung shared a difficulty she faced as a ballad singer.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol said, “Unlike idol singers, you are actually ballad singers, are there some difficulties you face?” Kang Min Kyung answered, “As a ballad singer, I feel that I can’t have a picture taken of me while I am drunk, so I don’t go to clubs.”

Since ballads often require a stronger emotional connection between the singer and the audience, she acknowledged that being seen drunk may put a bit of a damper on her career.
