KARA to possibly enter the Western market?

After getting so much success in Korea and Japan, KARA may possibly challenge the new area, European market! 

Recently, it has been anounced that Kobalt Music offered to help KARA enter the European market after seeing their huge success in Korea and Japan. If this happens, KARA will have more chances to bring their music to more people and boost the popularity.

Kobalt Music will help KARA release songs under Kobalt Music, and suggest distributing the tracks in the UK and Europe. DSP Media also confirmed that they indeed received an offer on the 4th, saying, “We will consider carefully the offer.” 

As one of the brightest stars in Korea and Japan, KARA still has a brighter future ahead. With their hard working and achievements in the past, KARA may totally shine in Europe. Let's wait!

SHINee to return with "Dream Girl" + releases Key's teaser

 Currently preparing for the release of their Japanese single, SHINee is also set to return to the local music scene with their much-awaited third album!

SM Entertainment announced that SHINee will release their new album on February 19th featuring the title track, “Dream Girl”. The song is said to be dance track which will showcase the unique charms of the group.

Further hyping the fans, SHINee also unveiled the first image teasers featuring member Key.

SHINee's Minho met his idol!

Idol group SHINee was given a vacation in the middle of recording their new album. 

The show titled 'SHINee's Wonderful Day' will be aired on MBC on the 10th at 12:40am. The program will feature the journey of SHINee during their short break.

Each member was given 4 days and 3 nights to enjoy their break and do whatever they wanted. It was also their first time to go on a vacation alone. The members encountered different problems but treasure every second of their time without the other members. 

Minho is an avid soccer fan and the reason why he went to England was  to watch the English Premiere League match between the Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland. 

Minho revealed that he respects soccer star Park Jisung a lot. He said "Watching Park Jisung playing soccer in person is really amazing and I am really happy".

G.O, Seungyeon, Siwan, Ji Eun, and Sunggyu to cameo in upcoming KBS sitcom

MBLAQ‘s G.O., KARA‘s Seungyeon, ZE:A‘s Siwan, SECRET‘s Ji Eun, and INFINITE‘s Sunggyu will all be making cameos in the upcoming KBS2 sitcom ‘A Bit of Love‘ (‘Remaining Love‘).

According to KBS reps, “The idols are not fixed cast members, but for about three weeks, they’ll appear as the younger versions of the five main characters and leave a strong first impression.”

G.O. will be playing the younger role of manly man Lee Jae Ryong, while Siwan will play the main character’s crush (Kim Tae Hoon). Ji Eun is set to play the feminine character of Do Ji Won, while Sunggyu will play weak-bodied Lee Hoon. Seungyeon is warming up her acting chops by playing the main character’s (Kim Sun Mi) younger self.

It’s reported that the producers of ‘Immortal Song 2‘ had a hand in picking the idols.

Davichi sing theme song for ‘Iris 2′

Davichi will be the voices behind the theme song for KBS 2TV‘s upcoming drama ‘Iris 2‘.

Along with the duo’s vocals, a 70-piece orchestra played the instrumentals for the ballad, “Do You Not Know“. Kang Min Kyung and Haeri stated, “As Baek Ji Young sunbaenim’s song for the ‘Iris‘ OST ‘Don’t Forget‘ received so much love, we feel a bit of pressure, but we also want to get a better response.”

In other news, the members of Davichi are preparing to release a full-length album, the second since their debut five years ago.

T-ara and SPEED to serve rice cakes for charity

T-ara and SPEED will be serving rice cakes for charity.

The two idol groups will serve rice cakes together at Brilliant Chicken (Gilbalhan Chicken) in Bucheon on February 9th at 6PM KST. Their agency stated, “We want to give the 100 sacks of rice we’ve received from fans to those in need.”

T-ara will be handing over the 100 bags of rice on the day of the event. They’ve also invited 12 children from the orphanage and plan to share rice cakes, take photos, and gift autographed CDs to them.

Last winter, the members of T-ara delivered rice, ramen, chicken, underwear, makeup, and other basic necessities to elderly persons living alone. They’ve previously donated necessities, dental services, and lunch to children with disabilities as well.

The rice cake event, which will take place on the 9th from 6PM-9PM KST at the Bucheon Brilliant Chicken, is open to anyone, including fans of T-ara and SPEED. The SEEYA and 5dolls will also be serving rice cakes as well.

In other news, T-ara will be releasing an album in Japan later this month, and SPEED will be releasing a repackaged album on February 18th KST after wrapping up promotions for “It’s Over“.

SHINee to collaborate with Jeon Hyun Moo?

Lee Soo Man, the chairman of SM Entertainment asked TV personality Jeon Hyun Moo to have a collaboration stage with SHINee?

On the February 5th episode of Strong Heart, when both MC Shin Dong Yup and Jeon Hyun Moo were present, they revealed a very interesting topic about Lee Soo Man.  Jeon Hyun Moo said that he was demanded by SM Entertainment's Chairman, Lee Soo Man during their dinner together to participate in various things and not to be an MC forever

Jeon Hyun Moo garnered much attention for imitating SHINee. He then said that he can replace SHINee in Korea while the group was busy promoting in other countries. The other guests said that he might misunderstand it, Jeon Hyun Moo insisted that what he understood was Lee Soo Man wanted him and SHINee to have a collaboration stage and caused everyone to laugh.
