‘Personal Taste’ wins best international drama award at Japan’s ’2012 GayO! Store Awards’

 

‘Personal Taste‘, starring Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin, has won an International Drama Award at Japan’s ‘2012 GayO! Store Awards‘.

 

Hosted by Yahoo! Japan and video subsidiary company ‘GayO‘, the awards chose the most viewed movie, domestic drama, international drama, animation, and variety shows of the year for a total of six awards.

 

‘Personal Taste’ received a win in the international drama category and the honor of placing 7th in the ‘GayO! Store Annual Ranking 2012′ combined chart, proving the drama’s popularity in the country.

 

In related news, Lee Min Ho will be holding a fan meet in Japan on December 2.

TVXQ to become the first Korean artist and the fourth international artist to hold a five Dome tour in Japan

 

TVXQ has one again accomplished a new feat in Japan as they have announced their plans of embarking on a five Dome tour across the nation!

 

The group will be kicking off the tour on April 27th of 2013, starting at the Saitama Super Arena, then moving onto Tokyo Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome, Sapporo Dome, and Nagoya Dome.

 

What makes this so special? Well, this will be the first time that a Korean artist has embarked on a tour that spans across five major Domes. The group will also become the fourth international artist to hold a tour of such a grand scale, following after legendary superstars Bon Jovi, Eagles, and Billy Joel.

 

As the Domes are venues used by only the most popular artists with their large seating capacities, fans are looking forward to seeing the success TVXQ, who already has experience bringing 550,000 audience members with their ‘TONE’ tour, will be able to bring with their upcoming tour.

 

The group will also be releasing a new Japanese single containing the Japanese version of “Catch Me” as well as new song “I Know” on January 16th, giving fans even more to look forward to with the new year.

 

On the news about their five Dome tour, TVXQ commented, “We are so happy that a five Dome tour, which we have been dreaming about since debut, has been decided on. We will work hard to prepare good music and performances, so please anticipate it and give us your support and interest.”

Who has broader shoulders, Eunhyuk or Son Dam Bi?

 

On the latest episode of ‘Strong Heart‘ sexy soloist Son Dam Bi‘s strong, yet beautiful shoulders were taken notice of by the guests on set.

 

Son Dam Bi revealed, “I swam for 9 years”, explaining her broad shoulders. To show the audience, she took Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk‘s jacket and put it on. Although the jacket itself was slightly boxy on her, the shoulder area fit her just fine.

 

Not to be outdone by Son Dam Bi, Eunhyuk tried to reason that ”It’s a slim-fitting jacket“, which didn’t end up convincing the MCs and the guests.

 

And so, a measuring tape was then brought out to measure the breadth of Son Dam Bi and Eunhyuk’s shoulders. Eunhyuk’s shoulder width came out to be 43 cm, and Son Dam Bi’s came out to be 45 cm, and both couldn’t help but be flustered at the result; Eunhyuk was a bit embarrassed that he had narrower shoulders than a woman, while Son Dam Bi was equally embarrassed that her shoulders were broader than a man’s.

The boys of TVXQ are the cover models for the December issue of ‘Esquire‘.

 

In the photos, the pair showed off their perfect masculine side, setting a rough and silent mood. The two wore classic yet rough suits and even pulled off light action moves while having deep gazes. In the interview portion, the pair talked about the challenges of being public figures that receive much love from fans.

 

In other news, TVXQ will be releasing their follow up song “Humanoids” on November 26th. They will also perform at ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III‘ in Singapore on November 23rd and in Thailand on November 25th.

f(x)‘s Sulli donned a multi-colored hairstyle for the December issue of ‘Instyle‘.

 

Sulli took on a pastel-colored theme for the photo shoot titled ‘Sweet Pastel‘. She sported blonde hair that had pink and blue mixed into it, and donned girlish outfits, including a lacy lavender dress, pink sneakers, a light pink, lacy jumpsuit, a furry pink coat, and a bright yellow dress suit. She also combined large jewelry that fit perfectly with her girly image.

Yoochun expresses misery in his new still cuts for ‘I Miss You’

 

New still cuts of JYJ‘s Yoochun in his MBC drama ‘I Miss You‘ were revealed to the public on November 20th.

 

Anticipation among viewers for the appearance of the adult cast are now skyrocketing thanks to ‘Han Jung Woo’s official appearance. The new still cut shows an emotional and dark side to his character, as he’s pictured in a shower stall sopping wet and locked in deep thought.

 

His complicated feelings of misery seem to reflect directly on his face, a true depiction of his character ‘Han Jung Woo, who believes that all of the wounds and pain were caused by him.

 

With fourteen years passing in the drama, ‘Han Jung Woo’ finds himself as a hot-tempered and fearless investigator who sometimes sheds tears over thoughts of his first love, ‘Lee Soo Yeon’ (played by Yoon Eun Hye). Yoochun will surely heat up the smallscreen with his emotional new role.
