Soyeon to return to filming 'Haeundae Lovers'

T-ara’s Soyeon will be returning to the filming set of KBS “Haeundae Lovers” on August 15 after recently being involved in a car accident.

A KBS drama representative revealed, “Soyeon will be returning to the set on August 15. We plan on being extremely cautious in continuing filming. If the film shoot on the 15th goes smoothly, there will be no problem with the broadcasts on the 20th and 21st. Both the production team and Soyeon have no thoughts on dropping her from the series.”

Soyeon was involved in a car accident on August 13th while on her way to Busan to film for “Haeundae Lovers”. The car slipped in the rainy road and hit the guard rail twice before flipping on its side. 

Core Contents stated, “The hospital suggested Soyeon rests but she is showing a strong determination to continue filming for her drama.”

KARA announces dress code for their showcase

KARA has set a dress code for their upcoming showcase.

In celebration of the release of their 5th mini album ‘Pandora’, KARA will be holding a showcase at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel on August 22nd. In accordance with the showcase’s theme, a strict dress code will be enforced requiring all attendees to wear ‘black jacket’.

KARA is the first idol to have set a dress codes for a showcase event. During the event, a ‘best dressed’ award will be given to one audience member with the best fashion sense and that individual will receive a prize. 

DSP Media official explained, “We decided to make a dress code so that KARA and the fans can become one.”

South Korean Male Olympics Athlete's are fan boys of KARA

With the recent end of the 2012 London Olympics, KBS Held a special concert this 14th of August in celebration with the South Korean Olympic athlete's as they arrived in their country. The concert was also broadcast live on KBS and various groups and singers performed at the concert.

However, There was one striking reaction from the olympic athlete's during the concert. When KARA went on stage and started to perform "Mr" the male athlete's couldn't hide their joy. KARA sets a ‘black jacket’ dress-code for their upcoming showcase

On the 22nd, KARA will hold the event in celebration of the release of their 5th mini album, ‘Pandora‘. What is special about this showcase however, is that all guests will be required to stick to a dress code.

With this novel concept of having a ‘black jacket’ dress code, all showcase attendees will be required to dress within the theme in order to enter the girl group’s event. In addition, a ‘best dressed’ award will be given to one audience member with the best fashion sense and that individual will receive a prize.

KARA revealed the dress-code announcement on their official fan page on the 13th saying, “We decided to have a dress code so we could become one with our fans”, sparking the curiosity of fans.

Meanwhile, beginning with Jiyoung’s teaser revealed on the 13th, KARA plans to reveal each member’s teaser one by one, counting down the days until their comeback.

Sulli reveals her ideal type to be…

f(x) member Sulli revealed that she likes men with a sense of humor.

At the press conference for SBS ‘To the Beautiful You‘ held in Seoul August 13th, f(x) member Sulli was asked who came close to her ideal type.

She answered, “In the script, Cha Eun Gyul (Lee Hyun Woo) is my ideal type, however, in reality it’sKwanghee oppa. I like people who are funny.”

ZE:A’s Kwanghee who was also present at the press conference could not hide his shock upon hearing her answer, and caused everyone to laugh as he remarked, “Stop that, Sulli!”

Sulli’s other co-star Minho then added, “I was secretly hoping [it was me], but I feel relieved after actually hearing her ideal type,” continuing the laughs at the event.

Netizens who heard the news responded with remarks such as, “Sulli likes funny guys I guess,” along with “Kwanghee hit the jackpot today,” and more.

Meanwhile, ‘To The Beautiful You’ is a high school romance drama about Goo Jae Hee (Sulli) who disguises herself as a male student to meet gold medalist Kang Tae Joon (Minho).
