f(x)’s Victoria has signed on for a one year endorsement contract with cosmetics brand “IPKN“!

Victoria participated in her first photoshoot with the brand last month and filmed new CFs to kick off her modeling duties. “IPKN” representatives said, “We used her positive, outgoing image (which was already seen on TV programs many times before) for our photoshoot. Her elegant and luxurious image fits well with the brand image we’re going for. Since she is also popular both domestically and internationally, we’re sure that she’ll be of great help in advancing our brand even further.”

The photoshoot that took place last month centered on covering a variety of styles, ranging from a simple, yet modern look for the busy, everyday woman, to a charismatic and mystical look. The 10-hour-long shoot was said to have been completed with nothing but smiles from the new model.

B2ST, 4minute, and G.NA officially appointed as ambassadors of Korean airport

Yesterday, we reported that Cube Entertainment artists, B2ST, 4minute and G.NA were appointed by the Korea Airports Corporation as official ambassadors for their world-class Gimpo International Airport, which handles domestic and international flights alongside Incheon International Airport.

All 12 Cube artists attended a simple ceremony on July 6th, where they were presented with certificates to mark their status as ambassadors.

“The dynamic image of Cube’s Hallyu stars match well with the soaring image of Gimpo International Airport,” the KAC said in an official statement.

“Especially at this point when Asian stars go on to become world stars, it’s very meaningful that our artists become ambassadors for the nation’s airports,” a representative for Cube remarked.

T-ARA to debut in Japan with “Bo Peep Bo Peep” in September

It’s been revealed that 7-membered Korean girl group T-ARA will debut in Japan this September, with the Japanese version of their hit single, “Bo Peep Bo Peep“.

Released in Korea in 2009, “Bo Peep Bo Peep” became popular for its “cat dance” choreography, which saw the members wearing cat paws and ears as their stage costume.

As a prelude to their debut, T-ARA held a showcase live in SHIBUYA-AX on July 5th, where they performed in front of 1,500 people. At the press meeting afterwards, the group’s leader Hyomincommented, “Wearing cat ears and paws, we didn’t know how it was going to turn out. When we actually did it, the concept was solid. Next time, we want to give more of our opinion.”

Video messages from other Korean artists, such as Jang Geun Suk, were also shown at the showcase.

4minute’s HyunA reveals unreleased photos for “Bubble Pop!”

After releasing a sizzling new video for her solo comeback, 4minute’s HyunA has returned with two new cuts!

Revealed for the first time, the shots see HyunA dressed in a red see-through shirt and a denim button-up. She exudes a sexy charm that contrasts with the classy black-and-white shot below. The outfits were featured in her music video, which received over 600,000 views from all over the world in just a day.

She’s also been topping live charts like Bugs, and ranking at the top of portal site searches.

Her first stage for “Bubble Pop!” is set for July 7th at Mnet’s “20’s Choice“, so be sure to stay tuned!

KARA attends Nicole’s “Mango Six” food tasting event

Last month, we reported that KARA’s Nicole joined forces with dessert cafe “Mango Six” to collaborate in a new enterprise with the cafe’s new product line, “KUKI SIX“.

On July 5th, Nicole and her fellow KARA members along with Jewelry’s Eunjung visited “Mango Six” for a special food tasting event where they had the opportunity to try Nicole’s new line-up of bakery goods.

Nicole expressed the following about her new venture, “People think that what I make as a hobby is delicious, and there are more and more that ask me to make some for them. On days without schedules, I’ll usually spend the entire day baking cookies and other goods. I’m not a professional, but they think deliciously of my cooking, and I think it’s because I’m always striving to improve.”
