Victoria Calls Nickhun “Oppa” !

f(x)’s Victoria called Nickhun “Oppa” for the first time.
During the episode aired on the 5th of March, the Khuntoria couple were shown practicing their dance routine for the “2010 MBC Gayo Daejun”
After completing their practice, Nickhun randomly said to Victoria, “Call me oppa.” and Victoria blushed.
When the couple had visited Thailand, Victoria had confessed during the private interview that she had admired how the younger sisters of Nickhun had called him “Oppa”, revealing that she also wanted to call him “Oppa”, but was worried he wouldn’t like being called that.
For the past episodes, the couple had been addressing each other with “Nickhun-sshi” and “Victoria-sshi”
When the couple went to the car, Victoria also asked Nickhun what the lyrics to “Elevator” meant. Nickhun replied, “You don’t need to know. You are too young. [I know because] I am an oppa.” and Victoria, who was annoyed, said, “Oppa”. Nickhun was visibly happy by smiling brightly.
Victoria also said, “Talk to me comfortably, oppa” and Nickhun agreed and chattered by himself happily.
Nickhun revealed during the interview that he felt like “Victoria’s man” when she had called him “Oppa”, and was not embarrassed to show his happiness.

4Minute's WHY charts on NINKI

4Minute's WHY is scheduled to have its official release in Japan by next week and it's indeed an overwhelming news that it ranked 7th on this week's Oricon NINKI Rankings.

However, to make things clearer, here's a brief description of what NINKI rankings are all about:

"Oricon NINKI rankings is not the official sales ranking of the singles. The NINKI ratings are the results of a poll conducted by Oricon indicating interest in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. Having said so, they are NOT an indication of how it will perform in terms of chart positioning and total sales for the week."

Thus, though it's just based from a survey, it still gives us big hopes and expectations towards the success of WHY in spite of releasing it the same week with other popular Japanese artists such as SKE48, NYC and Superfly.
