Who became the greatest gourmand on the New Year's cooking episode of 'Running Man'?

The cast and guests of 'Running Man' held a New Year's special cook-off competition to determine the true Iron Chef in their midst!

Continuing from last week's ingredient-gathering episode, this week's broadcast saw the teams gather at a specially-built kitchen reminiscent of cooking competition shows to prepare their main dish.

Song Ji Hyo and Lee Dong Wook tried their hands at a crab-centered feast, while INFINITE's Sunggyu and HaHa attempted to recreate Jeonju's famous mixed rice. Rainbow's Jaekyung and Gary went for the meat as well as incorporating the famous pears from their region, while Yoo Jae Suk and Park Soo Hong used the main ingredient of fish. Lee Kwang Soo and John Park had a tough time making noodles from scratch, and Ji Suk Jin and Kim Kyung Ho took their inspiration from the sea.

Finally, Kim Jong Kook and model Song Kyung Ah derived their menu from a health-inspired selection, opting for a herbal chicken soup.

Although three couples - the Kim Jong Kook-Song Kyung Ah team, the Gary-Jaekyung team and the Yoo Jae Suk-Park Soo Hong team - were on the short list for the win, the final victory was handed to Kim Jong Kook and Song Kyung Ah for their perfectly seasoned chicken soup.

The rest of the cast members praised them for their teamwork, prompting Yoo Jae Suk to yell, "It's over, Yoon Eun Hye!"
