Davichi to return through radio program before making TV appearances for comeback

Davichi will finally be returning with their second full-length album!

Rather than making an on-screen return first, the girls instead will come back on Kim Shin Young‘s radio program on March 18th, the same day that they release ‘Mystic Ballad‘. They will also be discussing the process of their return on the show and the new music in their album.

They stated, “We want to appear on the radio more often in order to introduce all of the songs on our album and explain them to the audience. If you have time, please tune into the afternoon radio and listen to the story of our  music.”

Davichi has already been dominating music charts with their single “Turtle” and will hopefully do just as well with their new title song “Take a Drink Together“.

Will Gary and Song Ji Hyo have a ‘Pepero kiss’ on ‘Running Man’?

‘Running Man‘ unveiled still cuts for its upcoming episode showing UEE and Noh Sa Yeon as the next guests!

During this episode, UEE, Noh Sa Yeon, and Song Ji Hyo transformed into Pyungkang princesses and received the difficult mission of finding their Ondals. For those who don’t know, there is a Korean folktale about a princess named Pyungkang who falls in love with a fool named Ondal. They fall in love and the princess educates the fool to eventually become a great general.

The male members turned into the fools named Ondal and to make them into great generals, the ladies assigned them quizzes, couple games, and stamina activities. One of the couple games they will be attempting is the ‘Pepero Kiss’ game and fans should be especially excited to see ‘Monday Couple’Gary and Song Ji Hyo attempt to rekindle their faux-relationship on the show! Lee Kwang Soo also tried to stir up a love line with UEE as her Ondal!

Kyuhyun is jealous of artists in smaller labels?

Kyuhyun confessed that sometimes he was jealous of artists in smaller labels.

The latest episode of ‘Radio Star‘ featured the 1st generation idol members of g.o.d, NRG, Sechskies, and H.O.T. Each one was asked if they were jealous of the other labels during their promotional period, and NRG’s Chun Myung Hoon replied, “I was jealous of all of them“, as the other three had been from big labels such as JYP Entertainment, DSP Media, and SM Entertainment.

Sechskies’ Kim Jae Duk joked that he was jealous of SM Entertainment because they housed the pretty ladies of S.E.S. Meanwhile, H.O.T’s Lee Jae Won said he’d never been jealous of another entertainment company, since H.O.T had done so well. However, he did mention that he was jealous of how SM Entertainment has improved and how large the company has become now.

After hearing Lee Jae Won’s answer, Kyuhyun spoke up and said, “While that is true, I am sort of jealous of other labels. It’s not that I’m jealous of any particular person, but that since our label is becoming so big, you have people doing acting, singing, and even running restaurants.”

Lee Jae Won asked sharply, “You’re now listed as a stock holder. Do you have stocks?“, and Kyuhyun admitted that he did. After the panel and the guests joked around with the stock prices of SM Entertainment, Kyuhyun got back on track and said, “Since the label is becoming so big, they sometimes have no choice but to pay less and less attention to us. So sometimes I’m a little jealous of the smaller labels. I keep thinking that Super Junior could be put on the back burner for their other interests.”

Of course, his comments were shut down by his sunbaes, who pointed out that he was at the top, and therefore would not be getting pushed to the side anytime soon. Kim Jae Duk joked, “About 15 years from now, you’ll realize how good they were to you.”

2PM prepares White Day gifts for fans

To usher in White Day, the boys of 2PM has prepared special candy packages for some lucky fans!

On March 15, 2PM released a video showing the members hard at work picking out 314 Hottests and present them their personally gift-wrapped candies. The packages will be delivered to the fans at their homes.

Davichi members interview each other about comeback

Currently gearing up for a comeback, the duo of Davichi sat down to give an interview to each other for the new episode of Loen TV’s CSI (Coming Soon Interview).

The new clip was released on March 15th, with Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung and Lee Haerienjoying a coffee together as they talk about upcoming 2nd full-length album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990’. 

‘Mystic Ballad 1990’ will be released on March 20th with “Just the Two of Us” being the title track. The full album itself will also feature songs from great number of famous songwriters including Vibe’s Ryu Jae Hyun and Choi Kyu Sung.

SHINee won triple crown on MBC Show Champion

SHINee shared a funny photo after winning MBC Show Champion.

On March 13th, SHINee made their 3rd comeback stage on MBC Show Champion with Dream Girl. As usual, the boys performed a perfect and flawless performance. They won 1st place again this week and it's their third time consecutively. Right after the show , SHINee's Key shared fans a photo of them posing along with the trophy.

The photo was shared through Key's instagram, Key was hiding his face in the trophy while Minho was holding it, Jonghyun and Taemin were making ridiculous faces, leader Onew was spotted looking somewhere else with a funny frown on his face.

Fans commented on the photo,"Congratulation SHINee!!","They're so funny","They all look good in red outfits", and so on.

2PM’s second full-length Japanese album ‘Legend of 2PM’ has already exceeded expectations in Japan by sweeping Japanese music charts and selling over 100,000 copies within two days of its release. The album contains a total of 13 tracks including “Beautiful“, “Masquerade“, “SOS Man” “Breakthrough“, “ONLY ONE“, “I’ll Be Okay“, and Junho‘s self-composed songs “This Is Love“, “If You Are Here“, and “Forever“.

KARA’s Seungyeon goes jet black for ‘Jang Ok Jung’

KARA‘s Seungyeon updated fans with her new black hairstyle for the historical drama ‘Jang Ok Jung‘ which takes place during a time when hair dye didn’t exist.

Seungyeon posted to Twitter, “It’s been a long time, everyone~. I finished the first filming for ‘Jang Ok Jung’, but I still can’t get used to my black hair~.. To be honest, I still can’t get used to Twitter either… [scratch],” sharing her new look.

Fans showed their support by commenting, “I anticipate your acting in a historical drama,” “Black hair suits you too,” and “You look more mature.”

T-ara’s Eunjung reveals a story of being left behind at a rest stop in Japan

Eunjung recently revealed a funny story about the time she got left behind in a rest stop in Japan.

Eunjung and the other members of T-ara are currently in Japan promoting their “Bunny Style” in 15 different cities across Japan traversing both urban and rural areas.

After taking a pitstop at one of the service stations with the T-ara members and staff, they realized that they had left Eunjung behind around 15 minutes after leaving. Eunjung stayed at the rest stop for an hour, waiting for the car to return, but instead of being angry she stated that she found it to be a nice rest during their hectic and busy schedule. While she was waiting, she also experienced over 3 meters of snow that fell, a rare sight in Korea.

She even took the above picture in the snow to commemorate the funny story.

In related news, T-ara will be completing a month of promotions in Japan and will be heading to Thailand on March 14.

SHINee Japanese single ‘Fire’ debuts #3 on Oricon

Currently dominating the local music charts, SHINee also scored success in Japan with their latest single.

On March 13th, SHINee released their seventh Japanese single ‘Fire’ in Japan. The single immediately nabbed the #3 spot of the Oricon’s Daily Singles chart after selling a total of 28,861 units on the first day.

‘Fire’ is currently garnering attention as it has gathered the greatest creators -- Junji Ishiwatari (lyrics), BACHLOGIC (track maker), SHIKATA (songwriter), ERIK LIDBOM (songwriter), D.O.I (mixer) and Akihiro Shiba (mastering).

2PM’s Japanese album ‘Legend of 2PM’ goes on sale in Korea

Due to overflowing requests from fans, 2PM released its second Japanese album in Korea.

2PM’s second Japanese studio album ‘Legend of 2PM’ officially went on sale in South Korea on March 13th. The album contains a total of 13 tracks including “Beautiful” and “Masquerade”, which sold over 100,000 copies each as well as Junho‘s self-composed songs “This Is Love”, “If You Are Here”, and “Forever”.

In February, ‘Legend of 2PM’ claimed a triple crown by topping Japanese weekly charts of the Oricon, Tower Records, and HMV after just a week since its release.

SHINee's Key checks his mobile phone during live performance?

SHINee's Key clarifies the controversy about him checking his phone while performing on stage.

SBS's "Midnight TV" which was aired on March 14th, the show visited and had an interview with SHINee in the waiting room. When it was mentioned that there was one member using his phone on stage, Key said,"Who did such an absurd thing?", then a photo was shown to the members and Key immediately said,"Oh it's me".

Key then cleared up by saying,"My mic pack fell off and it was dangling, and I was winding it up to put it in my pocket then this picture was taken", and concluded that it was his mic pack not his phone.

He also added,"If one person is panicked on stage then everyone will be panicked as well, so it's better to act like nothing happened", showed his professional attitude.

KARA releases short MV for “Bye Bye Happy Days”

Girl group KARA has unveiled a short music video for upcoming 8th Japanese single “Bye Bye Happy Days”.

“Bye Bye Happy Days” is a single with a cute melody and dance routine which will showcase KARA members’ lovely charms. The song aims to move hearts during graduation season in the country.

The single will be released on March 27.

KARA the Animation Receives Good Response!

Girl group KARA's participation in an anime receives good responses from the viewers.

The anime 'KARA The Animation' which features the members of KARA was aired on Japanese broadcasting  service multimedia smartphone 'NotTV'. All members of the group were in charge of dubbing their own characters and each episode focused on one  of KARA's member. The anime has a total of 5 episodes. 

KARA members were happy to be able to try something new. Gyuri who is a fan of manga and whose mother is a dubbing actress also received compliments for her job well done. 

Everyone knows that the meaning of 'KARA' is 'sweet melody' which suits the anime as it has 'sweet stories'.

f(x)'s Luna unveils pretty selcas taken in Texas
