Go Jun Hee lures the men of TVXQ in the new ‘L’EAU DE MISSHA’ CF

TVXQ is back again with another hot CF for MISSHA‘s fragrance for women ‘L’EAU DE MISSHA‘ alongside actress Go Jun Hee!

Although Go Jun Hee is ‘married’ to her onscreen husband 2AM‘s Jinwoon, the actress became part of a love triangle with TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin in the CF.

So just what is her secret to luring two handsome men? Apparently it’s the scent of her perfume as the actress sprays a spritz before she walks by the two, immediately capturing their attention.

Super Junior’s Yesung’s enlistment date confirmed for May 6th

The date has been set. Yesung will be enlisting next month on the 6th.

The Super Junior member had already clued his fans in at the group’s previous ‘Super Show 5‘concert, saying, “I was a trainee for 5 years, and I was with fans as a Super Junior member for 8 years. I am thankful for all the love. I’d forgotten how precious it was to sing on stage. I realized only now how much it means. While I’m not here, please take care of the Super Junior members. Please don’t forget about me,” while revealing that his enlistment was coming up this year.

The inevitable has now come with SM Entertainment announcing the confirmed enlistment date through an official press release. Yesung will be enlisting on the 6th to enter his basic military training for 4 weeks, and then will carry out the remainder of the 23 months as a public service officer after that.

He’ll still be carrying out many of his schedules until the date while he also spends some personal time, but he will unfortunately be missing out on the South American ‘Super Show 5′ concerts that will be kicking off later this month starting in Brazil, due to policies that prevent him from traveling abroad for long periods of time before enlistment.

The agency has also revealed that Yesung wishes to enlist quietly, and thus, there will not be a big sending-off event that will be held officially on the 6th.

KARA reveal their current ideal types

The girls were recent guests on NihonTV‘s ‘Blue Laughter for Anyone‘ to promote their latest Japanese single, ”Bye Bye Happy Days“. During the broadcast, the topic of their ideal type was brought up.

Gyuri said, “I like men who are mature and can understand me well.“ Seungyeon revealed, “I like someone who takes care of me as if I’m a baby and helps me around the house“. Nicole chose, “I like men who pay attention to detail and can remember what I say“. Hara said, “I like men with low voices“, and Jiyoung said, “I like men who are fun and engaging in conversation.”

Shindong receives ‘Half Bronze Mouth’ award for his 5th year anniversary on ‘ShimShimTaPa’

Shindong received the ‘Half Bronze Mouth’ award.

‘ShimShimTaPa‘ awarded Shindong the half bronze mouth as he celebrated the fifth anniversary as a DJ on the popular MBC radio show. Shindong started his DJ gig back in April 2008, and has been keeping his steady place even as his partners have come and gone over the years.

The ‘Bronze Mouth’ award is usually for MBC DJs who have been with a radio program for 10 years. Since he’s been there for only half a decade, the staff gave Shindong a ‘Half Bronze Mouth’ as a surprise event gift for his fifth anniversary. The CP of the show said, “We hope that this will be an incentive for you to fill the next 5 years here. You should be awarded the full ‘Bronze Mouth’ and not just the half so we can hang you next to Choi Yang Rak sunbae” and encouraged Shindong in his continued work.

Gyuri, who was one of his previous partners, had come over from her drama set to congratulate Shindong. She joked, “Did you give him the ‘Half Bronze Mouth’ so you can make a slave contract with him?“.

Shindong replied, “The day before I enlist, I’ll shave my head on ‘ShimShimTaPa’. When I’m discharged, I won’t go home. I’ll come straight back to ‘ShimShimTaPa’. I’ll be here for 15 more years so I can receive the ‘Golden Mouth’ award like Bae Chul Soo sunbaenim.”

SHINee’s Minho, Noh Hong Chul and Kim So Hyun chosen new hosts of ‘Music Core’

SHINee’s Minho, entertainer Noh Hong Chul and young actress Kim So Hyun have been chosen as the new hosts for MBC’s weekly music program, ‘Show! Music Core’.

A representative from MBC announced on April 11, “SHINee’s Minho, Kim So Hyun and No Hong Chul have been recruited as new hosts of ‘Music Core’. The three will begin hosting on the April 20th episode of the show.”

The new trio will fill in the empty spots of Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun, who will be leaving their MC posts on April 13th due to their busy schedules. On their last day as MCs, TaeTiSeo will perform “Good-bye, Hello” from the unit’s “Twinkle” album.

BoA confirms more concerts in Korea and Taiwan

Solo singer BoA will be taking her solo concert tour to other cities in Korea and other countries.

According to SM Entertainment, BoA’s exclusive concert ‘BoA Special Live 2013~ Here I Am’, which first kicked off in Seoul earlier this year, will continue in Taiwan’s National Taiwan University Sports Center on May 18th.

The veteran singer will then be returning to Korea to continue her tour in Daegu on May 25 and Busan on June 1. The concerts follow BoA’s successful first exclusive concert in Seoul which gathered 6,000 fans.

The ticket sales for her Daegu concert will open on April 18th and for the Busan concert on the 25th at 8PM (KST) through G Market.

TVXQ’s ‘TIME’ tops the Oricon Monthly Album Chart

The duo of TVXQ is enjoying huge success in Japan’s Oricon chart with Japanese album, ‘TIME’.

According to the Oricon monthly chart rankings for the month of March 2013, TVXQ’s sixth studio album ‘TIME’ succeeded in topping the Monthly Album Chart by selling 277,426 copies of the album. 

The album managed to sell 160,719 copies in its first day, setting a new record for the boys. It also smashed TVXQ’s personal record for the biggest first week sales, with a total of 244,000 copies sold.
