‘Running Man’ staff denies rumors of Song Ji Hyo leaving the show

With rumors of Song Ji Hyo leaving SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘ rapidly circulating, fans of the show have been left devastated and worried. Although the staff of ‘Running Man’ previously stated that “nothing has been confirmed”, the vague response seemed to have done nothing to alleviate concerns. Staff stepped forward with another response, taking a firm stance denying the rumors, much to the relief of viewers.

On April 21st, a representative of ‘Running Man’ had an interview with Star News and assured, “We have never heard about Song Ji Hyo leaving ‘Running Man’.  Furthermore, we have never discussed the matter of Song Ji Hyo leaving with her agency.”

Rumors about the actress’ departure from the show started circulating fast as media outlets reported that Song Ji Hyo may have her hands full with a new movie called ‘Jackal is Coming‘.

Aside from Song Ji Hyo’s current activities with various films, she has earned a spot on ‘Running Man’ as the “Ace” of the show for her clever tactics. She’s also well-known for her dynamic with “Monday Couple” partner Gary, making her an irreplaceable character.

Eunhyuk thanks fans for ‘Mr.Simple’ album sales

On April 21st, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk tweeted, “I know it’s a little late but thank you. When I first heard that we hit the 500,000 sales mark, it seemed unreal but it feels great and gives me pride. I thank everyone who bought the album. With this strength, we will prepare the 6th album well,” and thanked all the ELF out there.

Eunhyuk also added, “And thank you ‘Eunhyukdotcom’ for the celebratory cake. I will leave a comment soon” and shared the two above photos.

Eunhyuk and Leeteuk are seen holding up the cake and smiling for the camera, probably right before digging into the cake.

After seeing Eunhyuk’s tweets and pictures, netizens commented, “Congratulations on the 500,000 sales“, “Hope to hear more songs soon“, and “I wish you guys daebak on the 6th album!”

As reported earlier, Super Junior recently hit the 500,000 sales mark for their album ‘Mr.Simple’.

Hyomin covers Lee Hyori’s “Photo Album”

T-ara‘s Hyomin shared a video clip of herself rehearsing until the early hours of the morning.

On April 20th, Hyomin shared the video below via her official Twitter page and wrote, “Rehearsed all night with Hwayoung yesterday. As we wrapped up, I sang Hyori unni’s “Photo Album“. I really like this song, but I think Hwayoung got nervous as soon as she grabbed the camera. How funny, why so shy?”

Netizens who watched her clip were amazed at how hard she practiced, and took note of the way she worked the camera just as she would have on stage as she showcased her vocal skills

Song Ji Hyo to leave ‘Running Man’?

Rumors of Song Ji Hyo leaving ‘Running Man‘ has stemmed after the actress was confirmed as the lead character alongside JYJ‘s Jaejoong for the upcoming film, ‘Jackal is Coming‘.

According to her agency, C-JeS Entertainment, the actress has already completed the first script reading and is preparing to begin filming for the movie. Due to her being cast as a lead character, the possibility of the actress leaving ‘Running Man’ has been up in the air. Song Ji Hyo has been giving viewers much laughter on the weekly variety program with her “ace” character as well as being part of the “Monday couple” with Gary.

According to a representative of ‘Running Man’, they have revealed that nothing is set in stone as of yet. Last year, Song Ji Hyo was cast in the MBC historical drama, ‘Gyebaek‘, but was able to balance her schedule and continue filming the variety program.

Hopefully Song Ji Hyo won’t be leaving ‘Running Man’, the show won’t be the same without her!

Preview of MBC Special “Super Junior Paris Concert Documentary” revealed

Earlier in the month, Super Junior wrapped up their ‘Super Show 4‘ concert in Paris in front of more than 7,000 fans.

Their ‘Super Show 4′ concert in Paris, France which was held at the Le Zenith De Paris concert hall featured fans from all over Europe. Aside from French fans, visitors from Germany, England, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, and more were in attendance.

For those who couldn’t attend this epic concert, there’s some good news as MBC will be airing a Special Documentary on this concert. Earlier today, a preview for this documentary aired on MBC.

The preview shows Donghae crying saying as he’s talking about his late father in addition to leaderLeeteuk shedding tears.

The documentary will air on April 27th at 11:15PM KST.
