Shindong to leave post on "Strong Heart"


Following the changes to its MC, SBS "Strong Heart" will also be changing its fixed cast members. Unfortunately,Super Junior's Shindong will step down as a regular member of the show.

According to SM Entertainment on March 28, Shindong will no longer sub-host "Strong Heart" while his fellow members Leeteuk and Eunhyuk will remain on the show alongside Boom.

Shindong has been a regular on the show and has been participating in the segment "Boom Academy" with Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Boom. Currently, the singer is taking the role of MC on MBC "Show Champion" and Mnet's "Beatles Code 2."

Jiyeon looks like Dooly?


T-ara's Jiyeon is also enjoying the good warm spring weather. On the 28th of March she updated her twitter account and said, "The weather is good and I feel good too" and shared a selca. Her secla this time is quite unique and humorous as she is making a funny expression.

With her hair down and flaunting her beauty in her selca, she made a funny expression showing her funny and cute side. Netizens commented, "She looks like Dooly the baby dinosaur", "She's so cute", "She's getting prettier", "Such a cute selca". Meanwhile, Jiyeon along with her fellow T-ara members are enjoying their country hopping 8 nights and 9 days vacation.

Kyuhyun's teaser for "Catch Me If You Can" Musical


For the past weeks, the Korean production of Broadway musical ‘Catch Me If You Can’ has been releasing series of teasers. Marking the D-Day, SM Entertainment released new teaser featuring a closer glimpse of Super Junior's Kyuhyun during rehearsal.

The musical boasts an all-stars cast including SHINee’s Key, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, and CSJH’s Dana. Other line ups include musical stars Um Ki JoonKim Bum Rae, and Park Kwang Hyun

‘Catch Me If You Can’, made possible through SM Entertainment, CJ E&M, and M Musical Art, will start on March 28th through June 10th.

SHINee's "Sherlock" hits Billboard charts



After being away from the Korean music scene for an entire year and six months, the boys of SHINee made a strong comeback with 4th mini album "Sherlock." Not only did the boys blazed its way in the South Korean charts, they also made an international achievement.

"Sherlock" has placed in top-tier list on the US Billboard chart. The album debuted at No. 5 on the World Albumschart, achieving the biggest jump on the list. It also debuted at No. 10 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, ranking fifth for the albums on the chart that achieved the biggest jump for the week.

Just a week into its release, "Sherlock" came in first place on iTunes albums chart in Japan, #7 in the United States and #9 in Canada and Australia, based on the website's record last week.

Hyomin's bedtime fashion


On March 27th, T-ara's Hyomin updated her Twitter saying, "Laid down in my resting area and read comic books and watched movies, how nice kya~ But I read/watched them all.... what do I do now.... a tweet time after a long time?? Today I'll do something a little more special with photo mentions... Let's all play together~~~"

She also attached series of photos showing her lovely bedtime fashion. The member is wearing comfortable pink-colored tees and dotted pajama. Coupled with her bedtime fashion is a leopard print sleeping eye mask.

Hyomin also replied on several tweets from the fans in her own unique way. In particular, a fan tweeted "I like You" and Hyomin replied with a photo showing a letter with the words "Me too". And for a fan with a hurting arm, she wrote "Fighting!" and posted a photo.

KARA extends contract with Universal Music Japan


As one of Hallyu representatives in Japan, KARA solidified their status by extending their Japanese contract withUniversal Music.

According to DSP Media on March 27, KARA’s initial contract with Universal Music Japan was signed in August of 2010 and is set to expire this August. The group renewed their contract with the firm and will stay with them till December 2013.

KARA first signed with the label back in August 2010 and was able to release their debut single "Mister" right after. They have since followed it up with several successful hits including "Jumping", "Jet Coaster Love", "Winter Magic", "Girl's Talk" and recently "SPEED UP/Girls Power".

Meanwhile, KARA has added two additional concert dates for the Japanese leg of KARASIA after selling out all tickets in just a matter of minutes. The girls are set to cover a total of 12 performances in 6 cities starting April 14 in Yokohama.
