2PM to Hold Concerts at Budokan for Six Days

Back in December 2011 in the midst of their first arena tour "Republic of 2PM" in Japan, idol group 2PM hasannounced to hold concerts at the Japan's Budokan for six days on summer, building up anticipation among the fans.

On February 6th, the group finally announced the date for their longest 6-day performance. With a concept titled "Budokan 6 Days", 2PM will hold the concert from May 24-25 and from May 28-31. They will thus take place over the course of a full week, making them the first Korean singers to hold a series of six concerts at Budokan.

In related news, 2PM will be releasing a best hits album "2PM Best in Korea 2008-2011" in Japan on March 14th. The album will contain the group's major Korean hits and will be available in three versions.

Super Junior's concert in Taiwan is a huge success with over 40,000 fans in attendance

After Korea and Japan, Super Junior successfully concludes their "Super Show 4" world tour concert in Taiwan and Super Junior breaks another record by a foreign artist in the country!

Super Junior performed their 4-day concert "SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR SUPER SHOW4 in TAIPEI" last 2nd to 5th of February and over 40,000 fans were in attendance at the huge concert. In fact the concert tickets were sold out almost immediately after the ticket selling opened giving them the shortest time ever for concert tickets to be sold out in Taiwan. They are the first international star to have multiple sold out concerts in Taiwan.

Both fans and media were focused on the event and they also were present to welcome Super Junior when they arrived in the airport. Super Junior's arrival and concert was covered by the major media outlets in Taiwan. 

Super Junior performed over 36 songs that covered their solo performances and also their hits. Meanwhile, Super Junior's next stop will be Singapore on the 18th and 19th of February.

2PM to release a best-of album in Japan

Idol group 2PM have announced that they’ll be releasing a best-of album in Japan on March 14th.

The best-of album, titled ‘2PM Best in Korea 2008-2011‘, will be available in three formats: Regular Edition, Limited Edition A, and Limited Edition B. The two limited editions will come with bonuses like special tracks or a DVD. Depending on the edition, fans will be treated to “Move On” by Junho, “Alive” by Junsu, or a DVD containing footage from JYP Nation‘s Japan concert late last summer.

2PM have been enjoying a strong following in Japan, and they’ve ranked on the Oricon charts several times. The individual members have also been scooped up for local acting projects; Taecyeon was on the popular drama series ‘99 Boku to Star no 99 Nichi‘, and Nichkhun will soon make his cameo in the movie, ‘Ouran High School Host Club‘.

2PM will also be holding their six-day concert series at the Nippon Budokan, starting from May 24th and concluding on the 31st. Tickets will be available starting March 31st.

At this time, the group continues to take Asia by storm with their ‘HANDS UP ASIA TOUR‘.

Super Junior Attracted Taiwan! Great Success with ‘SUPER SHOW4’!

Super Junior, who has been meeting the fans all over the world through the world tour, ended ‘SUPER SHOW4’ in great success in Taiwan. 

Super Junior held ‘SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR “SUPER SHOW4” in TAIPEI’ at Taipei Arena in Taiwan for four days (2/2-2/5) and thrilled audiences totaling 40,000 people. 

Especially, all seats were sold out as soon as the ticket sales began and Super Junior set a new record for selling out tickets in the shortest time ever in the history of concert in Taiwan. Also, due to as explosive response from local fans, Super Junior extended the concert date. Super Junior proved themselves as the king of global Korean wave by holding a concert at Taipei Arena 4 times and drawing the highest number of people as the first foreign artist.  

In addition, on February 1st, the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was overcrowded with fans to see Super Junior and Taiwanese media such as ctiTV, CTV, TVBS, etc. reported the scene of Super Junior at the airport. 

Super Junior performed a total of 36 songs including hit songs, album tracks and each member’s unit stages. 

Since Super Junior’s 5th album, ‘Mr.Simple (released in August),’ has been at the number one on the Taiwan’s largest music website, KKBOX,’ for 25 consecutive weeks, the stages of the songs from the 5th album received an enthusiastic response from the audience. 

Moreover, Taiwanese fans presented messages saying “♥영원한 친구♥” and “♥♥SJ┽ELF〓No1♥♥” with glow sticks and card section and made a spectacular view by flying pearl sapphire blue-colored balloons. Also, they had a surprise birthday party for Kyuhyun on his birthday, Februrary 3rd.      

Meanwhile, Super Junior will hold ‘SUPER SHOW4’ in Singapore on February 18th and 19th.

The three angels were successful with their mission and they were given golden rings as prize for being the winners on the challenge.
