TVXQ, KARA and 2NE1 Nominated for Japan Record Awards

Kpop group TVXQ and KARA continue to shake Japan as they have been named nominees for the grand prize of the 53rd Japan Record Awards.

The Japan Record Awards, hosted by the Japan Composers Association, announced that TVXQ's "Why? (Keep Your Head Down)" and Kara's "Go Go Summer" were chosen as two of the 10 nominees for the most covetedExcellence Award.

For the Excellence Award, the two groups are up against several Japanese top artists including JUJU, AAA, Funky Monkey Babys and AKB48.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 who also reached out to the Japan public with an official debut this year, will compete for the best newcomer award against SUPER☆GiRLS, Ito Miyu and Fairies.

TVXQ has made its name on Japanese music scene with the released of their hit single "Why? (Keep Your Head Down)" which have topped Oricon charts and achieved platinum status.

KARA achieved four gold record accreditation with their albums "Winter Magic", "Girl's Talk", "KARA BEST 2007-2010" and DVD "KARA BEST CLIPS". The group will be releasing their second studio album "Super Girl" on November 23rd.

2NE1 became a rising hallyu star in Japan with their successful debut this year, alongside with their sold-out NOLZA concerts.

The Japan Record Awards is held annually by the Japan Composer's Association to recognize outstanding achievements in the music market. The 53rd Japan Record Awards is set to air on TBS on December 30th.

T-ara’s Hyomin takes final photos with ‘Gyebaek’ cast

T-ara‘s Hyomin, who’s been diligently filming for MBC’s ‘Gyebaek‘, took some photos with her castmates to commemorate their time together.

The drama aired its final episode on November 22nd, which prompted Hyomin to leave a wistful tweet, “Today, the last episode of ‘Gyebaek’ will be televised.”

Dressed in costume, Hyomin posed cozily with Lee Suh Jin, Jo Jae Hyun, Song Ji Hyo, and many others. Fans felt the close relationship between the castmates, who also received copies of T-ara’s “Cry Cry” album from Hyomin.

Netizens comment, “I watched the drama well”, “Please continue to show us good acting in the future”,and “I can’t believe it’s already ending. It’s bittersweet. You did a great job.”

Hyomin will now be focusing on T-ara’s promotions for “Cry Cry”.

SUPER JUNIOR-2NE1-泫雅荣获“2011 YOUTUBE AWARDS”！

近日组合 Super Junior，2NE1 以及 金泫雅 荣获由著名网络视频Youtube颁发的“2011 YouTube Kpop Awards”奖项，引起了关注。


这项小型颁奖仪式是在今天11月22号下午1时于首尔江南区驿三洞江南金融中心举行的。获奖人 金泫雅 表示道“对于Youtube的视频播放率我感到非常的惊讶，我看见有很多网友上传了我的歌曲，其实也有很多比我好的人，看了那些视频以后给了我更多推动力。”


女子组合 2NE1 在前10名的视频当中占据了3位。她们也表示道“我们会继续努力在未来上传更多很棒的视频，请多多支持它们，在I Am The Best的音乐视频当中我们都投入了很多热情，我想这也是大家都观看的原因吧！”


Super Junior 利特 则表示道“这个奖项显得更有意义，因为是在世界各地的粉丝们让我们获得这个奖项的，我们会继续向世界宣传Kpop文化，我自己也点击了MV10次左右，每当我们在海外表演的时候，相关表演频道都会上传到Youtube当中，看见了这些我能够了解到媒体的力量是多么的强大。”


在音乐方面，获得播放次数最多的音乐视频是 Super Junior “Mr.Simple”，前十名中占有3席的2NE1，以“I Am The Best”位居第2，第2名则是 泫雅 的“Bubble Pop”。
