tvN K-Pop Star Hunt Website to Launch on Aug 15th

Singapore, Aug 15 – Attention all aspiring K-Pop stars: the official tvN K-Pop Star Hunt: CUBE Audition website (www.tvnstarhunt.com) will launch on 15th August! From the launch date, K-Pop fans between the ages of 11 to 29 in Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand will have until 25 September to upload their K-Pop style song-and-dance routines onto the website with any song of choice.

Don’t pass up the chance to become the next BEAST or 4minute as the winners will join CUBE, tvN and Channel [V] HD as artist trainees. If that isn’t enough, the thrilling journey of the competition finals will be broadcasted on tvN’s original series in December, where your favorite K-Pop artists will guest star as mentors, judges and performers.

The official website will feature all uploaded video entries, categorized by country, for the world to admire and for Cube and tvN representatives to judge. Everyone will also be able to see the most popular performances in the ‘What’s Hot’ section and the newly uploaded videos in a ‘Latest Entry’ section. Don’t forget to check out the website regularly, if not daily, for exciting new entries posts, news flash bulletins, important winner announcements, and all rules and guidelines on entering the competition.

United Cube holds their first concert in Seoul

Cube Entertainment artistes held a press conference before their United Cube Concert earlier today.

Cube Entertainment representative, CEO Hong Seung Seong commented “I have been in the music industry for the past 20 years and finally my dream of a family label concert is being realized. Today we will be performing in Seoul. Soon, United Cube Concert will be scheduled for Japan. Concerts in South America and Europe are in the final stages of contract signing. After confirmation, we will quickly make an official announcement.”

BEAST, 4MINUTE and G.NA also had a chance to voice their perspectives regarding the United Cube Concert.

4MINUTE’s Hyuna: “I would have gained valuable experience after this concert.”

Solo Artiste, G.NA: “I would like to show a more mature side of me.”

BEAST’s Junhyung: “It was hard work rehearsing (for the concert) in the rain.”

BEAST’s Dujun: “We will begin this concert as amateurs and finish it changed.”

HyunA performs “Just Follow” with Block B’s Zico on ‘Inkigayo’

After being forced to halt promotions for “Bubble Pop!” last week, HyunA made a swift return to the stage with her follow-up track, “Just Follow“, on this week’s episode of ‘Inkigayo‘!

The track received high praise for its strong hip-hop beat, as well as an addictive melody that highlights HyunA’s unique rapping skills. The song also features verses from rapper/songwriter Dok2, but instead of Dok2, Block B’s Zico will perform on stage with HyunA for all her shows this week. Zico has also written his very own lyrics for his featuring in the song.

HyunA has worked tirelessly to make this follow-up track her own, and as far as her performances are concerned, she will show her a fans a much more serious and charismatic side to herself, contrasting with the cute and bubbly performances she put on for her title track, “Bubble Pop”.
