T-ara on their advancement into Japan "We're thankful for SNSD"

Girl group T-ara revealed their thoughts on their investment into the Japanese market.

On the 29th, T-ara's horror movie star members Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon were on YTN's "Issues and Peoples" for an interview. Eunjung said, "When we advance into the Japanese market, we'll be in a position again where we are rookies. We will have start from scratch again, and slowly take steps," she said about their preparations for Japan.

In response to the question the anchor asked, "SNSD who made their Japanese debut first, isn't it a bit burdening?", Hyomin replied "Rather than it being a burden, we're thankful. It feels like they lessened the burden for us. There's been more interest about us and a lot are looking forward to it so we think we can do well because of that".

Eunjung also said, "We're really thankful that the attention K-POP has gotten so far."

Meanwhile, during the broadcast T-ara honestly revealed, "Today (the 29th) marks out 2nd anniversary since debuting and we'd like to be able to place #1 on music programs in the future." Jiyeon also revealed that looking back at the past two years, she feels "old" now.

KARA's Han Seung Yeon is selected as an MC

Girl group KARA’s Han Seung Yeon was selected as an MC for SBS’s TV Animal Farm.

On the 29th, SBS’s official said, “There were many guest MCs, including f(x)’s Sulli, After school’s Park Kahi and Lizzy, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha. But we finally decided Han Seung Yeon for the show.”

The reason why production crew selected Han Seung Yeon is because she loves animals and she has an experience of raising dog and hedgehog. In addition, she was an MC for an animal program on a cable TV channel.

Han Seung Yeon had special experience on the TV Animal Farm for her first day.

She joined the rescue team for the animals. One late night, Han Seung Yeon and the crew received a phone call, saying there is an injured kitten and went to the scene.

Han Seung Yeon found the limping kitten and it’s mom and other kittens next to it.

However, mom cat didn’t move. She was already dead. The kittens didn’t know about it and tried to be close to her. Han Seung Yeon was unable to hold back her tears.

The rescue team saved the limping kitten immediately, but other kittens needed to be rescued too. Because if they stay next to the dead cat, they could be in danger.

But it was dark and it can make the situation worse, so Han Seung Yeon and the crew waited until the sun rise.

This episode will be aired on the 31st at 9:30 in the morning.

T-ara's European dance version of "Roly Poly" to be revealed on the 16th

T-ara will reveal a new European dance version of their "Roly-Poly" music video.

The "Roly-Poly" European dance version will follow the existing concept, but in a more sophisticated style. Following, T-ara are releasing a remake of "Round and Round" on August 16th. This summer, they are preparing to take control of the music industry and are off to a good start.

T-ara will be reborn again in the European dance version of "Roly-Poly". The exciting rhythm is promised to be an upgrade.

Meanwhile, they revealed new concept pictures for the "second concept" of "Roly-Poly".

Kahi: OBS Entertainment news viewers, hello, we are A.S. Red and Blue. Nice to meet you. I think you will be able to see the differences in our concept just by looking at us seated here. Us (points to the AS Red side), when you look at us we are the ones in charge of sexy, powerful, strong charisma. When you look at Blue, its like all of them are goddesses and innocent. An innocent and lovable image.

QN: Are they having a rival-mindset between the 2 sub units?

Jooyeon: Rather than being rivals, rather than having all 8 of us promoting as one After School together, this time round it’s a better way to show off our own charms in groups of 4. Rather than being competitive, it’s better..-

Jungah: -We can cheer each other on.

QN: What’s the one moment that you remember the most after debut?

Kahi: During Bang, when we are playing with the drums, all of us have the same hairstyle. Bur Raina’s hair is short so she had to wear a wig. And if you watch our performance, there’s a part where we threw the sticks to the floor and grabbed another pair from behind us and continued drumming. So when we did that, pulling another pair of drum sticks from behind…-

Jooyeon: -the wig…

Kahi: -the wig suddenly was pulled and fell to the floor in front of her. Raina’s wig. It looks like a huge caterpillar.

Jungah: It’s funnier to see it in person than to see it on some comedy program.

Kahi: It was a really fun memory that we had.

QN: The member who is most different before and after makeup?

-Everyone picked Nana, even Nana herself-

Nana: Even though I am different, it’s not weird! When I remove my makeup, I look like a baby, innocent and cute. (Look at Uie’s expression LOL) When I have my makeup on…-

Kahi: No, no.

QN: Member with most aegyo?

-Everyone picked Lizzy except Kahi who picked Nana but changed to Lizzy after realising everyone picked Lizzy-

Jooyeon: Dialect seems to have it own aegyo charms. When she speaks, it seems to sound fun and have aegyo.

Kahi: Like “Unnie, have you eaten?” when Lizzy says it -imitates accent- “Unnie, have you eaten?”…

Jooyeon: And she has a smiling face (when she speaks) so when you are angry with her, she has the smile on her face and you can’t really flare up.

Jungah: Most importantly, her age itself is an aegyo.

Lizzy: Unnie have you eaten~?

QN: Member who washes the least?

Lizzy said Eyoung.

Lizzy: I share a room with Eyoung. After our practices at night, we will be drenched in sweat. So I will shower before I sleep. When I come out of the showers, the light is already off and she’s sleeping. So I asked “Why didn’t you shower before you sleep?” and Eyoung said “Because I am too tired.”

Kahi: You shower once you wake up right?

Eyoung: Yes, I shower the next morning.

QN: Member who changes the most in front of guys?

Uie: Me?

Jooyeon: Uie in front of guys, her voice will be really cute and have lots of aegyo. She herself doesn’t realize it. Maybe that’s how she really is?!

Kahi: Uie likes lots of skinship too.

Jooyeon: She must have really like guys.

Uie talks about her character in Birdie Buddy and her partner.

Uie: Even though she seems arrogant, she is a character that really loves her father. It’s really an honor and I am happy when I meet him (her partner in the show). He helped me a lot and we had a really enjoyable filming together
