4minute’s HyunA isn’t seeking to be sexy?

4minute’s HyunA has been attracting global attention with her “Bubble Pop!” comeback, but the idol has unfortunately come under fire for being ‘too sexy’.

HyunA responded to the accusations by saying, “I’m not seeking to be sexy. I try to be boyish sometimes and chic other times. In other words, I try to take on a variety of looks. Even if I dance with a different outfit each time, I want to make it mine.”

HyunA, who began dancing at 10 years old, continued, “For now, I want to work hard on showing variety on stage. I hope that with age, sexiness will come naturally for me.”

Kim Jung Hoon to host new show in Japan, KARA to appear as first guests

Singer/actor Kim Jung Hoon is getting ready to debut as a show host in Japan. He’ll be the main host for Mnet Japan’s new program ‘M-STUDIO, which will invite K-pop as well as J-pop singers for an interview and performance.

A representative from the program commented, “Many viewers in Japan are interested in the new program. We didn’t know it would receive such a response.”

The first guests slated for M-STUDIO is none other than KARA. KARA plans to interact with their Japanese fans, and reveal unknown sides to themselves on the show.

Onscreen Style: T-ara ‘Roly Poly’

Recently, T-ara has been showing off their disco moves to their new tune ‘Roly Poly‘. Along with the choreography and song, their fashion has also been showing us their retro style.

Their outfits consist of bright colors, polka dots, bell bottoms, platforms shoes, and pretty much anything you can think of from the retro era.

In all honesty, I’m a fan of T-ara but they should refrain from the gimmicky concepts (‘Yayaya‘ anyone?). Their ‘Roly Poly’ stages and music video look like a buffet of bad fashion. Sure, they tried the unified outfits in their comeback stage, but those outfits missed the mark and were just not that appealing.

In their usual outfits, shown above, it looks like they made a list of everything and anything retro and then combined them together to create this concept.

Some of their usual clothing pieces look like they literally grabbed it from the 70s. No doubt, some pieces are cute, but the entire canvas is just too overwhelming. Visually, the concept would have been much better if they focused on just a few retro aspects and modernized it to a cohesive style. Instead, it feels like we’ve just been slapped across the face with their swift disco moves.

Also worth mentioning is their recent gym clothes performance on MBC’s ‘Music Core‘. Although a bit odd, I have to give credit to the girls for catching the audience’s attention in a unique way. It was an amusing special version of ‘Roly Poly’.

All in all, T-ara sure knows how to grab people’s attention, but is it always in a good way?

Rainbow’s Jaekyung’s new sel-ca pictures made her look similar to KARA’s Kang Jiyoung – catching the eyes of netizens.

On July 25th, Jaekyung uploaded the picture through her Twitter, tweeting, “Fighting today, too, Bbashya!♥” In the picture, Jaekyung showed of her baby-faced beauty with her hair in pigtails.

She is seen winking or having her mouth slightly open in the sel-ca pictures, further drawing out her cute charms. In particular, Jaekyung’s pictures reminded netizens of KARA’s Jiyoung, drawing their focus towards these pictures.

Netizens commented, “Is this Jaekyung or Jiyoung?^^”, “They do look alike!”, and “I think Jaekyung actually ages backwards.”

4Minute's Sohyun Revealed a Young Photo Proof as a 'Natural Beauty'

Girl group 4minute's member Kwon Sohyun proved as a 'natural beauty'.

Kwon Sohyun uploaded a photo on 27th July on her Twitter with a caption, "Haha this is when I'm young. I'm looking at the photo after a long time, it's fresh."

We can see her image when she was an elementary school student with starry eyes in two braids. If we compare the photo with her current look, we can see that there's no change. She showed off her 'natural beauty' look confidently.

Netizens showed their responses, "It's really cute" "Wow it's the same" "Your pose is also cute~".

Meanwhile, Kwon Sohyun debuted with a group called "Orange" before 4minute.
