KARA’s international fans unite to help Japan

KARA fans from 10 different countries are uniting to celebrate KARA’s 4th anniversary.

In celebration of KARA’s 4th anniversary, KARA fan sites from 10 different countries, includingKaraholic.com in North America and others in Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, donated $2,930 to the Red Cross Japan Relief Fund.

Fans had initially started collecting donations to help an orphanage in Goo Hara’s hometown of Kwang Joo; this effort was to celebrate the release of Kara’s new single ‘Jet Coaster Love’ in April 6th.

However, when many victims arose from a sudden earthquake in Japan, fansite members decided to use the money to help the Japan disaster relief effort. A total of $2,930 was collected until the due date of the 29th but donations are still being sent in.

They also sent a video message that said, “Let’s share much happiness and sadness. Kamilia will always be here to support and protect KARA. KARA always has 5 members in our hearts. We’ll support KARA no matter what happens.”

Meanwhile, KARA is promoting in Japan and working independently in Korea after their clash with their agency, DSP Media.

4minute’s Nam Ji Hyun accused of plastic surgery

4minute’s Nam Ji Hyun is well-known for her baby face and voluptuous body, but some people aren’t convinced that the package is all-natural.

After the music video was released yesterday for the group’s new single, “Heart to Heart“, viewers immediately noticed her “glamorous” body.

Nam Ji Hyun had to wear a really low-cut dress for certain scenes, and some viewers commented,“Did she get breast implants?” after seeing her physique.

T-ara’s Eunjung confirmed for “We Got Married”

T-ara’s Eunjung has been confirmed for MBC’s “We Got Married“!

According to information revealed by her representatives, Eunjung will begin filming her first segment on the night of March 30th.

As for the new ‘bride’, Eunjung shared, “I will take part in the recording with a dream of becoming a real couple, just like Hwang Jung Eum unni. I want to provide a new sort of entertainment to the viewers of ‘We Got Married’ with something that sets us apart from the other couples.”

Program representatives, etc are keeping mum on the identity of Eunjung’s husband although rumors are putting it as possibly as either actors Kim Soo Hyun or Kim Young Kwang. But the latter has already been ruled out by his agency’s representatives, claiming that it was unfounded.

The majority of entertainment representatives have not spoken regarding Eunjung’s husband for her virtual married life. However, many have said, “It is not a singer.”

HyunA is quickly garnering attention for her ’shining skin.’

On the 29th, the 4minute member wrote through her Twitter, “Aha~~~ ^∇^ Face is shiny shiny ㅋㅋ Where do you think this is?” and posted several pictures of herself.

In the pictures, HyunA is seen without any makeup and appears to be glowing with her naturally clear skin. The star has once again proved that she’s one of Korea’s top ’skin beauties’.

Regarding these pictures, fellow member Sohyun seemed envious as she commented, “I wish my skin was that shiny.” In return, Hyuna replied back to Sohyun, “ㅋㅋㅋ Cheer up Kim Hyun Bak,” illustrating their close friendship. Furthermore, netizens who viewed Hyuna’s selca pics commented, “How can she have such a glowing skin? I’m jealous” and “Hyuna who just turned 20~~ It appears that she has the scent of a woman now.”

Why did Luna cry over Kang Ho Dong’s words?

Yesterday, we reported about how f(x)’s Luna cried because of Kang Ho Dong. Most people assumed it was because he had said some harsh words to her, but it couldn’t be farther from the truth.

On the latest episode of “Strong Heart“, Luna shared a story from her debut days, which stretched back to 2009.

When she first debuted, people commented frequently that she looked very cold. She didn’t have many opportunities to show off her personality until she got asked to be on “Star King“. She was scheduled to appear on the show with fellow member Victoria, and she decided that she would try really hard to show off her true personality.

But on the day before filming, a friend called her and said, “Luna, be good to Ho Dong! Don’t get too hurt by him. Even if you’re good, he only likes pretty girls so he won’t even look at you. Anyways, do well on ‘Star King’! ”

Luna said, “I was worried after the phone call, but I tried really hard during filming and got a permanent guest spot on the show. Ho Dong oppa gave me so many chances to show off athletic and singing talents that I really was able to make my name known.”

Lee Seung Gi added, “It’s clear that Kang Ho Dong likes pretty girls since he helped you out.”

It seemed that everything was running smooth for Luna, until a certain day when all the members of f(x) were invited onto the show. The talk revolved around physical activities, and Luna was called upon to show her “horse thighs”. She thought people would make fun of them and brought a hat to cover the tears she expected to shed.

However, contrary to the criticisms, she actually received a compliment from Kang Ho Dong himself! He surprised her with, “I swear, if you keep working this hard, in 10 years, you will be really successful.”

After hearing this, she started sobbing so much that she had to sit in the back row so no one could see. She says she was really touched by his kind words.

On “Strong Heart,” Kang Ho Dong said, “I could tell that Luna genuinely loved people and had eyes like jewels so I advised her to trust herself.”

Badminton player Lee Yong Dae and f(x)’s Sulli to appear on ‘We Got Married’

Korea’s representative badminton player Lee Yong Dae and f(x)’s Sulli will be making a surprise appearance on MBC’s “We Got Married“.

On March 29th, judo athlete Wang Ki Chun tweeted,

“Came to the “We Got Married” filming. They say Victoria and Nichkhun are coming… They say Sulli is coming too ㅜㅜ I’m jealous of Yong Dae”

Eyewitness accounts of the ‘Khuntoria‘ couple have spurred interest in the upcoming episode.

According to one netizen, 2PM’s Nichkhun, f(x)’s Victoria, Lee Yong Dae, and Sulli filmed at Dongdaemun. They rode a amusement ride called ‘Disco Pang Pang’ and had a joyous time together.

The episode is expected to air at the end of April.
