KARA wins Mutizen on 600th Inkigayo episode + other performances

t was a special day in the history of SBS Inkigayo as it reached a milestone of 600 broadcast episodes today, and it once again promises to be another fun and exciting 80 minute show filled with amazing performances from the top singers in Korea.

Besides the usual MC trio of Yonghwa, Sulli, and Jo Kwon, they were also joined by past MCs likeSong Ji Hyo, Eun Ji Won, and Kim Heechul on this special day.

The Take 7 nominees were B2ST (‘Beautiful‘), KARA (‘Jumping‘), 2AM (‘You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls‘), Brown Eyed Soul (‘If It Were Same‘), Orange Caramel (‘A~ing♡‘), PSY (‘Right Now‘), and S.M. The Ballad (‘Miss You‘). B2ST, Brown Eyed Soul, PSY, and Orange Caramel did not appear.

After seeing B2ST win last week, we had a new winner this week on this special afternoon and it was announced to be KARA who caps off a good week (having won K-Chart this past Friday night) with another win for ‘Jumping’! Congratulations to KARA!

Other performers included T-ara, SISTAR, Lyn, Baek Ji Young, Norazo, Yang Dong Geun, Tim, Untouchable, B.Dolls, JJ, GP Basic, December, Dong Yoon, and Soul Harmony.

T-ara’s Hyomin tweets an apology for ‘Inkigayo’ slip-up

SBS’s “Inkigayo” celebrated their 600th episode earlier tonight, which included a special stage from T-ara. During their “YaYaYa” performance, the girls were to whip out placards spelling out “In-Ki-Ga-Yo”, but unfortunately, member Hyomin experienced an embarrassing mishap as she failed to flip over the correct side of the sign.

After the show, she took to her Twitter to apologize for the slip-up. She wrote, “When you line it up, it’s always the loudest person that gets it wrong… Aigoo… Sorry ㅠㅠ It’s not ‘600 Kigayo’… “In”kigayo, congratulations ㅠㅠ”

Hyomin attached a picture of herself correctly holding the sign, but with a defeated expression.
