Japanese fan bids 1.84 million won on KARA Ji Young's stage outfit at auction event


The 5 members of KARA's stage outfits were being auctioned and it has attracted a lot of interest among fans and each member's outfit cost more than 1 million won each.

KARA were part of KARA costume party which is an auction event and the results were revealed on the 25th of November.

In total, after 6 days when the auction started over 485 bidders participated in the auction. The first bids for the costumes were 500 million won and member Kang Ji Young reached the highest bid with her stage outfit's last bid was 1.84 million won. also, Goo hara and Park Gyrui's outfits were sold for 1.7 million won each. The highest bidder for the outfit was known to be a Japanese fan of KARA which only shows how their popularity has risen in Japan.

Meanwhile, all the proceeds from the auction will be donated to charitable foundations and to the less fortunate.

Why was Ryu Hwayoung added into T-ara?


T-ara along with Co-ed recently appeared in MBC's Radio Star.

When they topic was brought up about T-ara's new member, they explained why she was added into T-ara.

MC Yoon Jong Shin asked them, "Why did you guys add a new member?" and T-ara answered with "Well Ryu Hwayoung is 18 years old, so Jiyeon is still our youngest. Our CEO wants T-ara to have a lower average age!"

Kim Gura teases Jiyeon about her eyes


On the recent episode(November 24) of MBC's Radio Star, T-ara and Co-ed were the guests.

During the interview, Kim Gura, who is known for his harsh comments, said something about Jiyeon's eyes. As he comments, "Jiyeon! It looks like your eyes have gotten closer together since we met! When you first debuted here, your eyes were so near each other I thought they were one!"

The other host Yoon JongShin added, "Well, her face makes you look at it more and more." making the whole set burst into laughter.

T-ara members take their flight attendant exams

As they have been learning the ropes on how to become an air stewardess alongside others during the filming of their reality show, “T-ara Dream Girls“, over the past few weeks, some T-ara members took their examinations towards become a fully qualified stewardess today.

T-ara members Qri, Hyomin, Eunjung, and Jiyeon took their stewardess exam on the morning of November 25th on board airline Jin Air which was headed for Jeju Island.

The girls worked in pairs (Qri, Hyomin)(Eunjung, Jiyeon) alongside their trainers, and applied what they had learned which included showing the flight safety instructions, pouring of refreshments, making in-flight announcements, helping passengers with their luggage, etc.

Hyomin Exposes "Our CEO Regrets the Names For Co.Ed"


T-ara's Hyomin exposed, "Our company's CEO regretted the names for Co.Ed after making it."

T-ara's Hyomin came out on MBC's 'Golden Fishery - Radio Star', that aired on the 24th in the afternoon, and exposed "Our CEO regretted the names for Co.Ed after making it."

On this day, the emcees rose up questions about Co.Ed's names and accused them by saying, "Didn't you just copy DBSK?". Following this, Moon Heejun pressured Co.Ed by saying "Their CEO did a tie-in sale.'

To this, Hyomin interfered. "Our CEO asked us about the names for Co.Ed one day," and also added, "We said 'The response isn't that great' because he asked us about it," and to that she revealed, "He said, 'right' and it seemed like he was regretting it."

KARA rises in the Oricon Daily Chart ranking 2nd behind Utada Hikaru



KARA is aiming for the top and does even better at the Oricon Daily Chart for their new album.

It has been reported on the 25th that KARA's first Japanese album "Girls Talk" has rose 1 spot after debuting third in the charts and came in 2nd. Their album contains 10 songs and the songs "SOS" and "Jumping" are experiencing popularity as well.

KARA is now aiming for their 2nd gold after getting their first certified gold with their 'KARA BEST 2007-2010' album selling over 100,000 copies.

KARA debuted last August in Japan with their debut single "mister" and debuted 5th on the Oricon Weekly Charts.

Kpop groups are dominating the Oricon charts!

on the 24th of November it was revealed that 2 korean groups were able to take the top 10 on the Oricon Daily Charts on albums. KARA was debuted 3rd in the charts with their first Japanese album "Girls Talk" and BEAST debuted 6th with their debut album "BEAST - JAPAN PREMIUM EDITION".

KARA's first Japanese album is being taken well and is getting popular especially the new songs such as "SOS" and "Baby I need You". Also, BEAST's album contains a special CD and DVD which includes all their music videos.

Meanwhile, BEAST will be performing in Tokyo, Japan on the 27th with an audience of over 10,000 and this will officially start their activities in Japan.
