KARA's Seungyeon purchases a 5-storey-building in Chungdamdong

It has been reported that KARA's Han Seung Yeon recently purchased a building worth 4.5 billion won in Chungdamdong, Gangnamgu, Seoul.

The building is about 800㎡, has a basement and four floors. On the first and second floor, there are a pharmacy, a real estate office, a restaurant, a Taekwondo academy, a bookstore, an office, and studios.

Seungyeon's agency DSP Media replied to a media outlet, "We did not check the fact about the building of Han Seung Yeon. As it is a privacy of artist, we do not want to meddle in".

Actress Hong Soo Hyun is the next narrator for SBS' Roommate!

Next up as a narrator on 'Roommate' is none other than the sweet actress Hong Soo Hyun!

Henry reveals the reason why he started singing and dancing on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'

Henry made a surprise confession why he started practicing his singing and dancing. 

In the broadcast of KBS2's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' on July 25th, Henry appeared as one of the guests on the show and showcased hispiano and violin skills.

He said during the talk time with Yoo Hee Yeol,"I started learning music when I was 6 years old but I really hated it at that time. I even got hit from my mom because of it but I started enjoying it when I was 10". 

He continued," When I won 1st place at the piano and violin competitions for the first time, I thought,"This actually feels good?". 

Henry then shared a story from his school days,"When I was in middle school, I had a friend who liked dancing and he was very popular among the girls. So when I entered high school, I started dancing and singing, it's all because of the girls".

Chinese composer Yuan Wei Jen compliments EXO's Lay on his songwriting ability

Chinese composer Yuan Wei Jen complimented EXO's Lay on his songwriting skills.

Yuan Wei Jen took to his Weibo on the 25th and gave some encouraging words to Lay, sharing, "Listening to your music in Shanghai makes me really happy. I think the talent of young people these days is really impressive... Creativity is grown and embellished gradually, and it will be your best tool for music. Let me listen to more of your new songs. Fighting."

Lay replied, "I feel so good to be complimented by you, teacher. Like your words, I will work hard and let you listen to my Chinese songs."

Yuan Wei Jen is a famous composer and lyricist in China and Taiwan. He has been a producer for artists including Dream Girls and more, and made his debut as an artist himself in 2000. Lay is also known for his songwriting skills and previously revealed that he looks up to Beethoven as his role model, showing his love and passion for music.

Henry explains why he feels guilty about his popularity

Super Junior-M's Henry talked about his rising popularity and why he wasn't 100% comfortable with it.

He explained his choice to become a pop star. "I play the violin and the piano, and I do composing work," he said on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'. "If I became a classical artist, I would've only done performances. So I decided to be a singer."

"I only had three seconds' worth of solo parts," he said, talking about his activities with Super Junior-M. "It was too short and I felt a little guilty. I didn't do anything, but people still liked me. That's how I felt about that."

"I told them that I wanted to do music and stand on stage with my own music," he continued."I learned in a few months, and SM told me I could do whatever I wanted so I put it to reality. I learned a lot about composing and singing."
