Henry shows off his violin skills, covers 'Let It Go,' reveals he disliked variety shows at first, and more

Henry appeared on the July 25 edition of KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' and completely amazed the crowd with his versatile skills.  He not only performed a beautiful classic on his violin but he also did a very interesting rendition of Disney's "Let It Go," putting the piano to double use as an impromptu drum.

Of course, he performed "Fantastic," as well, and sat down for an interview in which he revealed a surprising fact when talking about being on 'Real Men.'  He said, "It's really hard.  Originally, I disliked variety.  I was of the opinion that musicians should not come out on variety shows.

However, after appearing on a variety show and seeing the response, I came to think that I should keep doing it since people laughed and were happy because of me. It's really difficult for me, but people are laughing as they watch me, so even though it's hard, I am happy when other people are happy."

Details and image released for EXO's new show 'EXO 90:2014'

If you just need more 'overdose' of EXO in your life, you're in luck as the group's new show will be here in less than a month from now!

After the initial announcement about a show being on its way, Mnet has dropped concrete details including the title, concept, and the premiere date!

It'll be called 'EXO 90:2014', and like its name, it'll aim to connect K-Pop veterans from the '90s with EXO to re-explore past hit songs as well as '90s culture.

The EXO members will appear as the lead characters in the '2014 version' music videos of these past songs that will be produced with each episode. 

Fans aren't the only ones excited for this new series as the members themselves expressed,"We are looking forward to showcasing the 2014 versions of our sunbaes' hit songs with a sense of responsibility."

The show's staff also shared, "We felt that EXO were the most fitting to become the main characters who will connect the beginning of Hallyu, the '90s, with 2014. We look forward to the re-living of the past culture and memories of the '90s by bringing together the pioneers of K-Pop and EXO, who are leading the Hallyu craze."

It's not yet known if this will be only EXO-K members or all of EXO since the poster image shown above show just the EXO-K members, but the title listed states EXO. 

The show will premiere on August 15 at 10pm!

EXO to launch their new show 'EXO 90:2014' on August 15th

EXO is ready to greet the fans through a whole new variety show. 

The show is called 'EXO 90:2014' and is produced by Mnet, with the concept of connecting the big seniors in the music industry from the 90s with EXO in order to make some of the past hit songs come to light once again as well as to revive its cultural and classic. 

In particular, EXO will be the main characters in the "2014 version" of the music videos of these past hit songs which will be premiered throughout the show. The boys are expected to showcase more of their hidden charms that fans have never seen before. 

According to the officials, the first episode will be about H.O.T with the appearance of Kangta and some of the trainees from SMROOKIES. Jun Hyun Moo will be the MC of the show. There will be a total of 12 episodes.

EXO preparing for a new variety program with possible guest appearance by Shinhwa

Great news for EXO fans!  After the success of their 'Showtime,' the boys are returning to your TV screen through a new variety program.

Previously, one media outlet had reported that EXO recently finished a recording of this variety show at a set in Gayang-dong with appearances by Shinhwa!  The rumor is that a great variety of stars will be appearing as guests.  

CJ E&M said to TV Report on July 25, "It is true that EXO is preparing for a new variety show.  It will start airing in early August."

It will be produced by CJ E&M and be broadcasted through Mnet.  

According to a recent tweet by Mnet, it appears the program could be airing in September.

f(x) to turn on the 'Red Light' for their promotions with sudden inactivity?

Although f(x) haven't been promoting for very long and fans had been patiently looking forward to their comeback for about a year, it appears that their promotion for "Red Light" might already be at its end.

Their studio third album, 'Red Light,' was released on July 7, and the girls have been consistently winning first place on music programs, but it looks like they are stepping on the brakes in light of member Sulli's current illness, which already prevented her from appearing on many music programs starting from July 16.

She did appear on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on July 20 as it was pre-recorded, but the official home page for the girls shows that their entire schedule, despite being in the midst of promotions, has been erased, raising curiosity.  Meanwhile, f(x) did not perform on the July 23 edition of 'Show Champion.'

Most comebacks run for at least three to five weeks, so it is surprising that f(x), which have been very successful with many music show wins so far, are ending after three weeks.  Not to mention, Sulli had said before the girls' first comeback stage, "We always performed for a short time, but we want to try doing it for a while this time."

An SM rep told TV Daily on July 24, "We are figuring out how f(x) promotions should continue or not and Sulli's current condition."  Stay tuned.

Henry expresses his desire to get married

Sam Hammington brought his lovely Korean wife onto the July 24 edition of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3,' making Henry jealous with how sweet their relationship was.

When asked if he wanted to marry a Korean woman, as well, Henry said he had no preference, but he envied Sam Hammington's married life and felt lonely.  Sam Hammington revealed that Henry always said he was lonely, which was understandable as his family was overseas and he had no girlfriend.

Henry suddenly spoke up, surprising everybody, "I want to get married." When asked on details about what type of wife he was looking for, Henry said, "In the past, I used to focus on looks, but these days, I think what's more important than the looks is the feeling she gives off."

Park Myung Soo responded, "It's best to put off marriage and death," making everybody laugh.

SHINee's Taemin to make solo debut this August

SHINee's youngest member Taemin will make his solo debut this upcoming August. 

According to the officials on July 25th, Taemin is at the final steps of preparing for his solo debut album. Even though the exact date hasn't been confirmed yet but it will be around the middle of August. 

It was also revealed that Taemin directly went to the United Stated and worked with the choreographers there. He's currently in the midst of practicing for the choreography and then will proceed with the music video shooting.
