SM Entertainment to pay additional $10 million as a result of tax audit

One of the biggest entertainment companies in South Korea, SM Entertainment, publicly announced on June 23 that it was charged with an additional fee of 10 billion won (~ 10 million USD) in corporate taxes by the National Tax Service.  

As readers may recall, the Seoul Regional National Tax Service started a special tax investigation into the company starting back in March under the suspicion that the agency failed to file billions of won earned from their celebrities' overseas promotions. 

On this day, the company stated through a separate report, "The results of the tax investigation fined an additional corporate tax fee of 10 billion won (~ 10 million USD), which we paid due to the difference in deduction for tax amounts paid in a foreign country in relation to the accrued profits of our corporate body in Japan, SM Entertainment Japan.

They also revealed to us there were no cases of tax evasions through the company's omission of earnings from overseas promotions in relation to our international businesses.  Henceforth, the suspicions brought up in relation to our overseas business and foreign properties were revealed to have been groundless."

C-Jes Entertainment denies the news of Song Ji Hyo transfers to a new agency

Song Ji Hyo was earlier reported to end her contract with C-Jes Entertainment and move to a new agency on June 23rd. However C-Jes Entertainment has officially denied it and said it's just an unfounded rumour. 

An official from C-Jes Entertainment said through press release,"We do not have any exclusive contract, Song Ji Hyo's situation is different since it was based on her trust to our management so her contract with us is just a verbal agreement. So the information of her transferring to another agency is baseless". 

They also said,"Due to this misreport, all the production and advertisement companies which are preparing to sign their contracts with Song Ji Hyo have been rushing in with questions regarding this situation, and this has disrupted our operating system".

Henry shows off his house on 'Real Men'

Henry showed off his house on the latest episode of 'Real Men'!

Before the cast were due to depart for the Philippines for assignment, Park Gun Hyungstopped by Henry's house for a quick pit stop.

He was surprised to discover a fancy, immaculately clean apartment! "This is our living room," Henry boasted, showing off the yoga mat where he claimed he stretched every morning while enjoying views of the city.

"It's a bit clean," he also said, as Park Gun Hyung commented on the cleanliness of his abode. 

He then took his guest on a tour of the house, including his recording studio, which he showed off proudly. 

'Running Man' team to compete with an idol team on the upcoming episode

"Running Man" will form their own 'idol team' on the upcoming episode. 

SHINee's Minho, Infinite' Hoya and Sunggyu, 2PM's Chansung, CNBLUE's Minhyuk, B1A4's Jinyoung and Sistar's Bora will make their appearance on the episode of "Running Man" on June 22nd. They will form as the "Urban Idols" group and will have a battle against 'Rural Idols" which consists of "Running Man" members. 

The two teams will involve in many competitions such as dancing and even will have to "dirty" themselves in a mud battle.

Hyomin shows nice body even in non-photoshopped photos.

On June 22nd, Core Contents Media released 2 new non-photoshopped photos of Hyomin. 

The photos showed Hyomin at a Burger King shop. She was dressing in a black tank top and matching it with a check shirt. She showed her friendly attitude by flashing her bright smile and even making a V sign. 

Hyomin's 1st mini album will be released on July 2nd. Prior to that there will be a 15+ and 19+ rated teaser videos being unveiled. 

Luhan expresses his anger at a sasaeng fan

That sasaeng fan really crossed the line this time. 

On June 22nd, Luhan wrote on hi Weibo,"Can you stop chasing me? Aren't you too imposing? I will not post what you have said here". He also attached a photo of a car that the sasaeng fan used it to follow him. 

Fortunately that there was no accident but obviously that something needs to be done about this issue before it get worse.

Baek Ji Young shares the pros and cons of marriage on 'Entertainment Relay'

Baek Ji Young shared how marriage led her to gain weight during her guerilla date on the June 21 edition of 'Entertainment Relay'.

Baek Ji Young commented on her recent weight loss, "I lost 4.5 kg (~10 lbs.). After getting married, I gained 6 kg (~13 lbs.). I liked my body best when I was 56 kg (~123 lbs.)."

When asked, "What is one thing you like most about your marriage and one thing that was different from your expectations?", Baek Ji Young shared, "The thing I like most is that I don't feel anxious anymore. And one thing I don't like so much is how if I didn't want to eat, I didn't have to eat [prior to marriage]. But after getting married, even if I don't want to eat, I end up eating because of my husband. That is why I gained weight."

When asked if she has any plans for a baby, "I hope to [get pregnant] around the end of this year. [A baby] is a gift from heaven above but that is our plan so far."

Let's hope Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won can be blessed with a baby in the future!
