TVXQ’s ‘TIME’ ranks #1 on Oricon Monthly Chart

TVXQ has done it again!

The duo had set a new personal record in Japan for first day studio album sales as their sixth Japanese studio album ‘TIME‘ sold 160,719 copies on the first day.

The boys carried on their sales throughout the month as their sixth Japanese album ranked #1 for the month of March by selling 277,426 copies. The album, which includes 12 tracks and 2 bonus tracks, had been released in four versions: a CD version, 2 CD+DVD versions, and a special BigEast version.

It looks like fans and Davichi‘s Haeri can breathe a sigh of relief because Kang Min Kyung has says she doesn’t plan on quitting the music industry after marriage.

The singer appeared on the April 9th episode of KBS2‘s ‘1 vs 100‘ where she spoke up about the topic. MC Han Suk Joon asked Kang Min Kyung, “Would you continue your career as a singer after getting married?”

Kang Min Kyung replied, “Even after I get married, if the public is okay with it, I would like to continue my career as a singer. Even Haeri unni said the same thing.”

Kang Min Kyung revealed her skincare secrets on the latest ‘1 vs 100‘.

The Davichi singer is famous for her perfect, clear skin, and on the show, the MC asked her, “Kang Min Kyung, you did a few dramas. That may be why, but there are a lot of questions asking you about how you take care of your looks and your skin.”

Kang Min Kyung answered, “The secret to skincare is that I wash my face 5 times before I sleep, no matter what. Before I sleep, I wash my face over and over again to make sure there’s no dirt left. So I wash my face about 5 times.”

f(x)‘s Victoria and Krystal took an adorable photo on their way to New Zealand for their upcoming reality show.

Victoria updated fans on her me2day with the message, “Amazing f(x)~ New Zealand go go go,” and gave them a sneak peek at the two idols’ denim airport fashion.

Fans commented, “I feel like I can fall  into Victoria’s eyes,” and “They’re even pretty on the plane.”

The f(x) members are currently in New Zealand to film their upcoming reality show ‘Amazing f(x)‘, and they’re also preparing for a comeback. No word on a release date yet, but fans predict there will be a ‘hot summer’ coming soon.

Song Ji Hyo becomes the new face of ‘Mr. Pizza’

Song Ji Hyo has become the new face of the Korean pizza brand ‘Mr. Pizza‘.

‘Mr. Pizza’ revealed a still cut from the upcoming CF as well as announcing Song Ji Hyo as their endorsement model stating, “We chose Song Ji Hyo, who is gaining popularity among people of all ages across the country, as the endorsement model because we think she fits well with our new ‘The Shrimp’ concept and recently finished filming the CF.”

A ‘Mr. Pizza’ marketing representative also added, “‘Running Man’s ‘ace’ Song Ji Hyo, who is receiving love from the nation with her sweet and genuine image, matches well with ‘Mr. Pizza’s new ace menu ‘The Shrimp’. We anticipate the CF and the ‘The Shrimp’ to gain much popularity.”

Like mentioned above, the actress will be endorsing the brand’s newest shrimp-topped pizza, ‘The Shrimp’, and the new CF will start airing on the 13th!

Kang Min Kyung usually surprises people when she reveals her actual age. For those of you who don’t know, the singer, who was nicknamed the ‘goddess’ on ‘Immortal Song 2‘ with her height, long flowy hair, and flawless skin, is actually from the ’90 line.

On the 9th’s episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘1 vs 100‘, she spoke on the subject of looking more mature than her age, saying, “To be honest, I’ve looked old since my debut when I was 19. I’m 24 now, and I think people are finally starting to think I look my age.”

Reaching that mid 20s age, the topic also naturally drifted to the that of marriage, with the MCs askingher, “Will you be a singer even after you get married?“. She answered confidently, “Even after I get married, I want to keep doing music if the public is okay with it. Hae Ri unni said the same.“

Super Junior and Gyuri to guest on anniversary special of Shindong’s ‘ShimShimTaPa’

‘ShimShimTaPa‘ will be having an idol festival!

They previously announced their “2013 ShimShiMTaPa K-Pop Festival” with B1A4, Girl’s Day, TEEN TOP, Rainbow, U-KISS, and Wonder Girls, and now there’s more good news.

Shindong will be celebrating his 5th year anniversary on the radio program soon, and to celebrate, ‘ShimShimTaPa’ will be bringing on his former DJ partner Gyuri on April 10. The show will also bring on the rest of the Super Junior members the following day on the 11th.

‘ShimShimTaPa’ is a popular radio program that has enjoyed #1 ratings in its time slot for 4 years. PD Son Han Seo said, “‘ShimShimTaPa’ is like a journal that recorded the journey of Super Junior’s Shindong becoming a great radio DJ and one of the best Hallyu stars.
