TVXQ earned over $12.5 million in Japanese DVD sales for 2012

TVXQ has reportedly earned over 1 billion yen (approximately $12.6 million USD) in Japanese DVD sales for 2012.

‘ORICON BiZ online‘ reported the third quarter results for the Japanese music market and the report revealed that the only artists that earned more than 1 billion yen in terms of DVD sales were TVXQ and Japanese girl group AKB48.

TVXQ’s released their DVD ‘TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012-TONE‘ back in July and it contained footage from their Japanese concerts held in 11 cities. The DVD had ranked #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts and the Weekly DVD Charts.

According to ‘ORICON BiZ online’, TVXQ’s total media sales enjoyed an increase of 11% compared to last year. Their single album sales had decreased by 1%, but their album sales had increased 7.7% and video media sales such as DVDs and Blu-Ray have increased by 36.2%.

JYJ‘s Yoochun shared his thoughts on the first episode of the new MBC drama ‘I Miss You‘.

On November 8 KST, Yoochun posted to JYJ’s official Facebook: “Did you watch the broadcast yesterday? [I miss you and feel so sorry I could go crazy]. These days, I read the script and say, ‘I’m going to go crazy,’ a lot. Please give ‘I Miss You’ lots of love,” making a reference to his character Han Jung Woo’s lines in the drama.

He also shared the above photo from the first script reading session.

Fans commented, “Yeo Jin Goo and Kim So Hyun act very well, so you probably feel a bit of pressure!”, “I’m looking forward to your acting”, “Seeing your thoughts on the first episode, I feel like you’re already getting into the character of ‘Han Jung Woo’”, and more.

Jiyeon putting off her college education again this year

Last year, T-ara's Jiyeon put off going to college and this year again, she will put off her college education.

T-ara's agency Core Contents Meda said to OBS that, "With Jiyeon's and T-ara's activities in Japan and her acting career, Jiyeon is already going to have a full schedule so she will delay her college education."

Last year it was revealed Jiyeon was thinking of going to college and taking the CSAT, but she postponed it and said she would think about it again for this year. With T-ara's Japanese activities and her acting schedule colliding, Jiyeon will have practically no time for going to college, so this year also, she will put it off.

According to her agency, Jiyeon does plan to go to college when she has more time.

On her official Facebook, she posted a photograph of herself in front of a poster of ‘I Miss You’ of MBC that Park Yu-Cheon is appearing as the main character.

Song Ji-Hyo said, “Yu-Cheon, thank you for being there yesterday. The poster of ‘I Miss You’ is cool! Go, Yu-Cheon!” with the photograph.

Park Yu-Cheon attended the VIP premier of the movie ‘Jackal Is Coming’ that Song Ji-Hyo and Kim Jae-Joong are appearing on 8th. It’s said that Song Ji-Hyo took the photograph while she was at MBC radio station for promotions of ‘Jackal Is Coming’ on 9th.
