T-ara tops the first half digital single sales with Lovey Dovey

T-ara tops the first half of the year digital sales chart. On the 18th of July, the first half of 2012 Digital download charts was revealed and T-ara is in first place with their song "Lovey Dovey" which had over 3,338,408 downloads. Their hit "Roly Poly" also was a chart topper in digital sales last year making the group a power house when it comes to digital sales.

Big Bang has 2 songs in the charts with "Blue" having 2,985,936 downloads and "Fantastic Baby" having 2,855,955 downloads and the group takes home the 2nd and 3rd spot in the charts. Solo singer Ailee which just made her debut this 2012 with "Heaven" ranked 4th with over 2,386,564 downloads of her debut single.  The rest of the chart is Lyn's "Back in Time" which is an OST for MBC's "Moon that embraces the Sun". Followed by Busker Busker with "Cherry Blossom Ending", SISTAR's "alone", Miss A's "Touch", Dynamic Duo's "Without You" and Se7en's "When I cant's sing". 

Hyomin's stunning Pink selca!

T-ara's Hyomin updated her Twitter with a new photo.

Dressed in pink,Hyomin poses gorgeously in the photo above.She garnered much attention with her pink lips and innocent expression.

She is currently busy filming new drama "One Thousandth Man" and promotional activities of Day By Day with T-ara,hope that she gets enough rest though!

Boram is having fun playing the arcade

With T-ara's busy schedule, its nice to see the girls get a time off once in a while. On the 17th of July, Boram updated her twitter account and shared "ppyokppyokppyokppyok ppikppokppikppok" and shared a couple of photo's of her playing the arcade.

On the photo you can see her concentrating on the game she is playing and crouching down. Look's like Boram missed the old school arcade games and had fun playing the arcade. Netizens commented, "She looks so small in that photo", "She's so cute", "She looks like she had a lot of fun".

T-ara's first solo concert in Korea tickets gets completely sold out!

Girl Group T-ara received huge feedback from their fans. On the 17th of July, the remaining seats for their first solo concert in Korea this coming 11th of August was sold and it immediately became sold out in just 20 minutes when the sales started making their concert completely sold out despite the early selling of tickets.

Fans not only from Korea clamored to grab a ticket for the concert, their Japanese fans requested for 600 tickets and their fans who weren't able to secure a ticket due to the fierce competition were requesting for addition dates, however, Core contents media is unsure of adding more dates. They shared that the ticket sales was a first come first serve basis and as much as they want to give all of T-ara's fans an opportunity, the seats and time is limited. Meanwhile, The group is busy preparing for their concert which is a month from now.

Super Junior continues to record high album sales + ranks #1 on Taiwan and Hong Kong’s KKBOX K-Pop Charts

After releasing their 6th album ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘ on July 4th, Super Junior has claimed the number 1 spot in total album sales for Hanteo Chart, Hot Tracks, and other various domestic online charts for 2 weeks in a row.

Furthermore, the song ‘Sexy, Free & Single’ claimed the top spot of the Korean Music TOP 100 Chart for KKBOX, one of the largest online music sites in Taiwan, for 2 weeks in a row. Consequently, Super Junior has maintained their number 1 title on the chart for a total of 111 weeks now, setting a new record.

Moreover, Super Junior has also taken the number 1 spot of KKBOX’s Korean Music TOP 100 chart in Hong Kong for 2 weeks in a row, with all of the tracks from the album having also placed in the TOP 10, attesting to the group’s immense popularity.

Immediately after making their comeback with ‘Sexy, Free & Single‘, Super Junior has also taken 1st place on TV programs, MBC MUSIC‘s ‘Show Champion‘ and Mnet‘s ‘M Countdown‘, continuing to confirm their popularity domestically as well.

Boram gets hardcore about playing the guitar?

On July 17th, T-ara member Boram took to her Twitter with the pair of pictures above and two brief messages.

In the first picture, Boram looks focused as she strums her guitar. She attached the message: “Dinga dinga (the sound of strumming a guitar) roong-♩,” to amplify the peaceful atmosphere of the photo. With the second picture, she posted, “Dinga dinga ggu-ang!!! (ↂ⃝⃓⃙⃚⃘ㅁↂ⃝⃓⃙⃚⃘),” and showed a different, edgier image, ditching her composed look to gnaw at her instrument instead.

Fans commented, “So she’s learning how to play the guitar,” “You’re not supposed to bite the guitar, you’re supposed to throw it,” and, “Her legs are really thin.”

In other news, T-ara continues to promote their title single, “DAY BY DAY“, which achieved an all-killupon release and continues to maintain a high position across various music charts.
