The singer recently attented the 2012 Nike Women’s Race which took place at the Sangnam World Cup Park in Seoul. Minkyung captivated the audience, showing off her pure and clean look without wearing any makeup on her face.

Netizens commented, “Nobody can follow her with no-make up”, “She’s prettier without makeup”, “Envy her flawless skin” and “She looks fabulous even without any makeup on.”

KARA completes 'KARASIA' Japanese tour

Girl group KARA successfully completed their first Japanese tour concert “KARASIA”, finishing off from May 26 to 27 at the Sataima Super Arena.

Starting from Yokohama in April, KARA toured the city of Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Tokyo. Selling all the tickets for their twelve concerts in six cities, KARA recorded an audience of 150,000 from all over Japan.

The final performance at Saitama on May 27 was broadcasted live through 60 different movie theaters nationwide. All tickets for both the concert and the theaters were sold out, proving KARA’s high popularity in Japan.

KARA performed their hits “Jet Coaster Love”, “Go Go Summer” and “Speed Up” as well as individual stages by the five members. Several Japanese celebrities including AKB48, Aoyama Thelma, Terry Ito, Wentz Eiji, Suzuki Emi and Ashida Mana also attended the concert.

KARA will be returning to Korea to focus on their individual activities following their tour.

Hyomin shows off her ant waist

T-ara’s Hyomin is getting a lot of attention thanks to her incredibly slim waist!

On May 28th, Hyomin uploaded the above photo and tweeted, “I’m rehearsing for the concert in Thailand… Day 6 Fighting!”

Super Junior to release new album before Leeteuk joins the military

Hallyu group Super Junior has announced that they will be releasing their sixth studio album before leader Leeteuk leaves to serve his two-year military service.

Super Junior recently held their ‘Super Show 4’ encore concert which took place in Seoul Olympic Park Stadium on May 26 and 27. On the last day, Leeteuk surprisingly revealed, “We are working on our sixth studio album which will be released before I leave for military service.”

SM Entertainment confirmed during a telephone conversation with OSEN, “It is true that Super Junior is currently working on their sixth album.”

Super Junior released their fifth album ‘Mr. Simple’ in August 2011. The group has sold a total of 502,830 copies of the album until March of this year, marking the group to keep their position as album king for three years in a row.

Ailee impresses with her ‘wedding dress’ performance on ‘Immortal Song 2′

Singer Ailee looked elegant and graceful in a wedding dress for KBS 2TV‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘.

The May 26th episode of ‘Immortal Song 2′ was a ‘Yoon Hang Ki & Yoon Bok Hee‘ special and Ailee gave a different spin to Yoon Hang Ki’s 1974 hit, “What Am I Supposed To Do“.

The rookie singer shocked the audience members by stepping on stage wearing a wedding dress, and she got into character for her performance, and a male actor came on stage for the beginning of her performance.

After watching her performance, MC Moon Hee Jun remarked that it was like watching a melo-dramatic film with a strong plot, and Yoon Bok Hee gave Ailee a thumbs up saying, “I was so shocked. It was truly the best.”

T-Ara, BEAST, 2NE1 Strong Comeback Competition in mid June - July!

Idol groups 2NE1, BEAST and T-ara who are always strong on the music charts will be making their comebacks after each other from the end of June till early July. Towards this, the entertainment industry is  already all nervous for these comebacks.

To win the #1 spot of the summer market, the industry are giving lots of attention in their comebacks dates and concepts.  If 2NE1, Beast, and T-ara were to dominate the #1 spot again, then other singers have to avoid these “#1 dangerous idols”

Among boys idol groups, BEAST is one  group that does considerably well on music charts. Last year, BEAST, who was successful on the charts with “On Rainy Days” for quite some time, have achieved good results in both dance and ballad songs as a male group. Together with its solid fanbase, BEAST managed to rise and become one of the top groups. Currently, BEAST is finishing some last touches on their songs, and will be making a comeback soon at the end of June.

One of the representatives expressed,  “Early June we will  have Big Bang and Wonder Girls’ comeback, then it will be followed by 2NE1, BEAST and T-ara, there will be a strong movement on the charts, June to July comebacks will not be easy”.
