Leeteuk's prank annoys an ordinary citizen

Super Junior’s Leeteuk’s April Fool’s Day prank has gotten out of hand.

On April 1st, Leeteuk posted his phone number without the last three digits on Twitter. At this, his fans guessed that the last digits of his phone number would be “1004” as his Twitter ID was “special1004.”

However, the last four digits of Leeteuk's phone number weren't “1004.” A person then uploaded a screenshot of the call log of the real owner of the “1004” and wrote, “From the early morning, my friend got several calls, even from foreign countries. Because of this, he couldn’t sleep at all.”

The victim and his friend tweeted Leeteuk to solve this problem, but Leeteuk just deleted his original tweet. Leeteuk tweeted again, “Don't be fooled by fake numbers. Just call my number here”, and revealed his real phone number.

However, the victim and the friend were not happy with Leeteuk's action and wrote, “My friend was really annoyed because of him. I guess he should apologize first. My friend is still getting phone calls from people he doesn’t know.”

Hyomin, Eunjung & Core Contents Media's new girl group snap a photo together

As previously announced, T-ara’s Hyomin and Eunjung will be working with famed director Cha Eun Taek and photographer Cho Sae Hyun and will act as staff memberson the set of a 1 billion won ($886,000) project. They will be taking care of seven still cameras, three film cameras, and various props and equipment for the debut music video and photobook of an upcoming group to be shot in Europe.

Ahead of their departure, Hyomin and Eunjung participated in a series of meetings with some 70 other staff members in preparation for the Europe trip. To commemorate the meeting, Hyomin and Eunjung took a picture with the yet-to-debut girl group, and revealed a first look at the girls’ faces.

The upcoming seven-member girl group will be comprised of actresses Hwang Ji Hyun, Lee Hae In and Choi Soo Eun, and supermodel Kim Hyeji.

Nichkhun honored with grand prize at Thailand's Kerd Awards

We recently reported that 2PM’s very own NichKhun was nominated to the famous award ceremony Kerd Awards in Thailand. Thai hottest managed to bring the idol to the top, as NichKhun won the grand prize award of!

At the awards ceremony held in Bangkok on March 30 and hosted by famous host Woody, NichKhun was announced as the winner of Kerd of the Year category.

NichKhun said during her acceptance, “I’m just a child who always gives my full effort to those that I love. This is for the people who love me, for all my fans, and for the Thai people to make them proud. This award gives me so much motivation to continue to proudly work hard. I wish everyone good health and Thank you.”

2PM adds 2 more concert dates after selling out Budokan concert

Back in December 2011 in the midst of their first arena tour “Republic of 2PM” in Japan, idol group 2PM has announced to hold a 6-day concert at the Japan's Budokan. Following the success of their previous ‘Hands Up Asia Tour’, tickets for 2PM’s Japan tour were all sold out as well, proving their global influence.

After selling out the tickets to their 6-day concert at the Nippon Budokan, 2PM has decided to hold two extra shows at the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa, Japan on June 5 and 6.

2PM will kickstart the concert from May 24-25 and from May 28-31 at the Nippon Budokan. They will thus take place over the course of a full week, making them the first Korean singers to hold a series of six concerts at Budokan.

'Funnier than Gag Concert' 2PM Fan meeting 'Hepeun Dal (Wasteful Moon)' was a big laugh!

“Oh my, why is 2PM so funny” “Funnier than ‘Gag Concert’, my stomach hurts from laughing”

2PM prepared their fan meeting a bit differently. Each member delivered their active energy for their ‘HOTTEST’ fanclub. A ‘SHOW’ only for the Hottests was held for 2.5 hours. It was only possible because they were 2PM.

On 1 April at 4PM, 2PM’s fan meeting for 3rd Hottests, ’2PM’s Hottest Party’, was held at the Kyunghee University Peace Hall in Seoul. Fan meeting on this day was very different to other fan meetings. Each member starred in their own programs on ‘Channel 2PM’ such as talk show, music program, drama and more.

A little after 4PM, a voice announcement “Channel 2PM will start broadcasting” was heard and each member appeared on stage wearing primary colored costume to represent the television color control screen. Fans were already in tears from laughing at the comical appearance of the members even before the main show began.

Soon, members Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Nichkhun appeared on stage with the aerobics instructor Yeom Jeongin whom she appeared together on MBC’s ‘Infinity Challenge’. They performed ‘Life and Health – Aerobics’ with passion and also showed off their ‘buttocks dance’ to Lady Gaga’s ‘Pokerface’ music.

Yeom Jeongin stated, “I have come here for your eternal lover 2PM’s health.”, “Your(2PM) body belongs to your fans. You must strengthen your health for your epic responsibilities. We will start the fan meeting with 2PM’s strengthened energy” and announced the grand opening.

Members did not hesitate to show off comic actions just for the fans’ laughters. Taecyeon acted as a drunkard on the street sleeping with a newspaper on a news program and Wooyoung transformed into a nagging child.

Nichkhun appeared as an infant care specialist and performed his flawless acting, while Junsu transformed into a girl and showed off his variety skills. Junho introduced World Topic as a woman who impregnated 7-tuplets and Chansung transformed into ‘Reporter Hwang’ who showed off his great body size.

The funniest show of all time was ‘Hepeun Dal(Wasteful Moon)’, which was a parody of MBC’s ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’. Lee Hweon was performed by Junsu and Heo Yeonwoo was done by Wooyoung. They successfully presented both seriousness and comedy.

Junsu flawlessly acted out Kim Soohyun’s famous line “I never ordered you to be afar from me. Do not dare be apart from me. This is a King’s order.” and Wooyoung showed sad emotions with his eyes as Han Ga-In.

All in all, 2PM’s trademark of fun and high energetic characteristics was never to be forgotten. Wooyoung suddenly burst out a sexy wave to abduct Taecyeon (as Yoon Daehyung) in the middle of a torture. Fans burst out into laughter at Chansung’s scary eyes when he played the role of ‘Shamanist Jang’. Crowds from here and there were all saying “Oh my, this is crazy funny” “Why are our oppas so funny” “This is even funnier than ‘Gag Concert’” and acknowledged how impressive the show was.

Members presented even more fun through another comedy show called ‘Animal Kingdom’ and also showed off their talking skills through the talk show ‘Hallo(parody of KBS ‘Hello’). ‘Standard Korean Language Researcher’ Junsu, ‘Fashion Specialist’ Junho, ‘Health Specialist’ Chansung, ‘Dating Specialist’ Nichkhun and ‘Psychology Specialist who studied himself for 10 years’ Wooyoung shared their fans’ concerns with MC Taecyeon. A few fans actually burst into tears from too much laughter thanks to funny conversations between the members.

The last stage was ‘singer’ 2PM’s specialty – a music program. The six members rose on stage in handsome black suits and revealed ‘performances we want to see the most – BEST 5′ as selected by the fans.

Following the soft opening of ‘Like a Movie’, ‘Follow Your Soul’, ‘Hands Up’, ‘Hearbeat’ and ‘I’m You Man’ was performed. Fans called out 2PM’s names with all their heart and sang with them. Energy from more than 4,000 fans and the 6 members created a hot atmosphere

Taecyeon delivered his apologies and thanks to the fans by saying “we prepared a special stage for Hottests as we haven’t been active in Korea for a while” and “so we wanted to create a memorable moment for everyone. Was it fun?”

After singing the Korean version of ‘Hanarete Itemo/Even if we’re apart’ as an encore song, Junsu also commented “This song was released in Japan first but I wanted our Korean fans to hear it again so I made the Korean lyrics” and “we promise we’ll have promotions in Korea this year. We’ll be with you” with confidence.

Two and a half hours went by and 2PM’s fan meeting was over. “We want to play more” said the members while leaving the stage with a sad face and the fans also kept their seats for a long time.

The relationship between ‘knows-how-to-play’ 2PM and ‘knows-how-to-enjoy’ Hottests was ‘golden’. The synergy of this relationship will be even greater when 2PM starts promotions with a new album. The fan meeting was an event that left fans waiting even more for 2PM’s Korean promotions.

2NE1 on Oricon Style!

•A new track produced for Japanese Blackjacks

——The release of both Single ‘Scream’ and 1st standard album ‘Collection’ on 28 March.

Dara: ‘Scream’ is a new track produced for Japanese Blackjacks. The addictive toxic-like melody allows our listeners to feel that it’s an interesting song as the sound/melody differs from part to part.

Minzy: In addition, as you sing along with the song, your mood will become better. Before you realize, you’ll find yourself smiling because you have been singing to this song as you walk. (Laughs)

——I understand this feeling. This song is just like how you described. The song itself has this kind of energy and its increasing slowly.

Bom: Minzy’s rap in this song is really cool and she even set strict standards on herself! For me, I’ve put in more effort than before and the prominent characteristics of my voice were subconsciously projected. Frankly, when I first heard this song I felt it was hard to sing and I don’t really understand the meaning for the song…(wry smile). 

However, it was really like how everyone described, the more you listen to it, the more you’ll like it that you’ll hum along to the tune of it. CL and Dara’s part also give prominence to their own charm. I'm loving the song more and more.

——Also，the lyrics is based on the scene at a Club, messing with a unfaithful guy, we made a casual decision “If there’s no change then it’s goodbye!” The first impression is so strong about a really energetic woman but also reflects a woman’s shaky inner feelings in an ingenious way. 

CL: Really fortunate to have M-flo’s VERBAL to compose the lyrics. Working with Verbal’s team was really fresh and exciting.

•2NE1’s constantly working hard to strive to be the world’s best

——The Album, ‘Collection’ also includes exciting tracks. Japanese remakes for their Korean popular tracks were also included.

CL: Because it’s Japan debut album, so we’d like to introduce to Japan on what kind of group 2NE1’s like. So we’ve also included our Korean popular and representative tracks.

Dara: 2NE1’s colors and style is all inside, everybody who doesn’t know 2NE1 could also understand 2NE1 just by listening to this album. When they see any of our members, they’ll go like “So this is 2NE1”.

Bom: 2NE1’s music not only contains 2NE1’s “Essence”, 2NE1’s new image or songs that you’ll easily remember once you hear it but also songs that can make more people happy. 

CL: ‘Fire’ is our debut song in Korea, it can also be known as 2NE1’s trademark. When people say ‘2NE1’, they’ll not think of other songs except for this. Hereafter, while we were deciding on the sequence for the tracklist, all four of us agreed that it (Fire) must be arranged as the first track. 

Not only has that it represents a new start for 2NE1 but also, instantly leaving a strong impression to those who listen to our album.

Dara: This time, the album is a re-interpretation in Japanese. Especially, during the recording of ‘Fire’, brings back memories from the past, the same kind of tension and deep emotions.

Minzy: The feeling is the same like we first debuted. However, I totally can’t get over the Korean lyrics for ‘Fire’ and getting used to the Japanese lyrics became harder for me during the recording. 

Even though the lyrics itself is really interesting and no constraints but it is really time consuming. Unlike our new song, ‘Scream’, where there’s totally no impression about it and it’s the recording that went very smoothly.

Bom: ‘I DON’T CARE’ is also one of our trademark songs. When I went to the US, someone told me “Korean group’s ‘I DON’T CARE’ is pretty good, be sure to listen to it”. (Laughs)

——You’re being promoted（Laughs） 

Bom: I was thinking “I’m the singer for this song” (Laughs). Nevertheless, I felt really touched because it’s a compliment for 2NE1.

——2NE1 is showing that there are no boundaries to music. 

Bom: So! 2NE1 lets continue to work harder and strive to be the world’s best! 

——2NE1 is already the best group. 

Bom: No, Not yet (Laughs). 

——But, being so humble and hardworking makes people curious that they want to know more about 2NE1’s music and the chemistry of the group.

CL: Also, the members are appreciative and respectful towards one another. 

•The relationship among the 4… 

——The relationship between the four are quite good, they get along really well.

Dara: It has always been the four of us together. We get along really well despite our age differences. Furthermore, we coordinate really well with one another. But there are also times when you become headstrong when others don’t support your opinions. When this happens, we’ll do self reflection. At last, after mutual understanding and exchanging our opinions, we’ll coordinate on a conclusion that all of us agree on.

——Maintaining the good relationship among each other by not accumulating grievances. 

Dara: Although CL is younger and the leader of 2NE1 but her way of doing things is really straightforward. She judge 2NE1’s affairs objectively. This will give people a feeling of ‘Older sisters being the maknaes and the maknaes becoming older sisters’.

Bom: It’s true (Laughs). Dara and I are older but we’re like kids (laughs). CL and Minzy are like young matured adults and they’re really reliable.

——Especially CL-san, she’s conscious, responsible, and courteous and also there’s this special aura around her. It is said that she have a lot of older female fans. She’s really reliable! (Laughs) 

CL: I feel really happy being complimented this way. Not only me, we’re matured and 2NE1 members are someone that everyone could rely on. Therefore, being able to wholeheartedly strive to be better is because of everyone’s support. 

Minzy: She’s indeed a Leader.

—— Recently during your rest days, what do you do in general if you have time? 

Dara: I will go home and play with my cat. It’s getting more and more adorable…Ah, I’m a muddled parent who dotes on my cat. (Laughs)

Minzy: Because I like to watch movies, so I’ll watch movies, read books and play with my puppy.

CL: I don’t really like to go out. Generally, I’ll stay at home.

——This is quite unexpected. 

CL: There are rumors that I go to the Club often, in fact I don’t. I’ll be at home, drawing while listening to music. Recently, I’m a fan of this US drama, [FRIEND], I would repeat the drama over and over again. 

Although I don’t watch dramas that often but this drama depict the wonderful time spent together with friends. It’s good~ I’m really envious. 

——Perhaps, it is normal for us, but it’s not the same for CL. Our lives are different from 2NE1’s, because they cannot make decisions for them to do what they want. Therefore there is strong desire.

CL: Although I’ve realized my dream and have become where I am now, but I can’t go out freely, this situation is undesirable so I can only watch TV dramas to maintain a good mood.

Bom: I dozed off while watching Japanese dramas (Laughs). Recently, I became a fan of [ONE PIECE], I really like Luffy.

—— Luffy and Bom look a bit similar.

Bom: (Smiling from ear to ear) When I see Luffy, I also felt that we resemble one another.

•This summer, want to have a waist of an ant? !

——This is the last question. This summer, what is the new thing that each of you wants to challenge?

CL: Swimming. Although I really want to swim previously, but this seems to be the first time. In Japan, it’s different from South Korea, I can shop at ウインテ‐ジmall, buy some jeans and cut it myself to make them into beggar jeans. And also...Ah, so much to say (Laughs)

Bom: I want to have the waist of an ant!

—— Waist of an ant！Is this Bom’s quote?

Bom: This Spring, I want to wear a short t-shirt that shows my navel, hence I want my waist to become slimmer. 

So I want to challenge the fitness programs at the gym!

——No, That’ll be too slim (Waist like an ant), you look really good in your present state.

Bom: (Absolutely) No! No! I must really work hard to look like that (Laughs)!

——So it turns out that you’ve such desire of being beautiful. What about Dara?

Dara: I’ve learnt to play a guitar last year but I didn’t play well. When 2NE1 go on tour, I want to play it once!

——I’m anticipating it! 

Dara: … (Whispers) I’ll work hard in order to play it well (Laughs).

Minzy: The thing that I want to do is not necessarily something that I want to do in spring but I am thinking when I can travel around the world for once.

——Travel around the world with your music (Laughs). 

Minzy: There are a lot of countries that I want to visit to let the world listen to 2NE1’s music and love our music! 

Bom: That’s not the first step. We must let everyone in Japan listen to our music. Spring is the season for a brand new start for things and the beginning of hope. People, who’re troubled with their relationships, work or studies, could listen to our music to gain courage and take a new step together with us!

Kang Jiyoung captivates Seulong and Changmin with her aegyo

2AM members Lim Seulong and Lee Changmin recently fallen for KARA’s Kang Jiyoung’s maximum charms.

On the March 31st episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Invincible Youth 2’, 2AM and G8 members visited the idol town and had a cooking contest with the clams they dug up personally.

Kang Jiyoung became a team with Jo Kwon and Jewelry’s Ye Won and decided to make clam pancake and curry spaghetti but worried because they didn’t have onions. At that moment, Kang Jiyoung saw Seulong washing an onion. She went close to him and said, “I think you are very nice. You look like you’ll do whatever I say,” looking at him with lovely eyes.

Seulong then asked, “Is there something you need?” and Kang Jiyoung sweetly answered, “I need some onions.” Seulong only had one onion but as Kang Jiyoung asked with her maximum aegyo, “Please give me a half of it”, Seulong handed cut it and handed the half to her.

Kang Jiyoung also gave a melting wink to Changmin to get some green onions. Changmin asked her to dance in front of him, and she eventually got the green onion upon granting his request.
