KARA members advise challengers on how to lose weight

KARA members revealed their diet secrets.

On the October 9th episode of SBS‘s ‘Good Sunday-Victory, KARA appeared to help give advice for those trying to lose weight.

When asked by a challenger on the show about their diet secrets, Seungyeon stated, “We usually eat well, but we don’t gain weight by how much we eat. Instead, it sticks to under our face. If we start to gain weight, we run on the treadmill and jump rope. Since we are dancers and singers, we sing loudly while running on the treadmill.

Gyuri elaborated with, “The best thing is to exercise as much as you eat.” When asked how long she exercises, she responded with, “When I do aerobic exercises, I bike for one hour and run for one to two hours, and when I want to develop my muscular strength, I exercise even more.

The innately skinny Goo Hara said, “I don’t do aerobic exercises, I only do muscular exercises.

Nicole, the member who been on the most diets out of the group, revealed, “I currently do Pilates.

4minute’s “Ready, Go” used in opening credits of Japanese drama

Although their next Japanese single isn’t set for release until December, 4minute fans will get to hear one of it’s songs, “Ready, Go” every week on TV Tokyo‘s ‘Welcome to the El-Palacio‘.

Originally a comic about female pro-wrestlers, ‘Welcome to the El-Palacio’ began airing on October 7th. The drama will tell the story of a man wakes up after a car accident surrounded by El-Palacio, a female wrestling team. The drama will chronicle the ups and downs as he struggles to regain his lost memory. Starring Eriko Sato and Takeda Kouhei, expectations for the drama are high.

Ready, Go‘s rock elements and powerful guitar harmonies, plus the girls’ dynamic vocals are a great match for the high-octane drama.

KARA reveals their diet secrets!


KARA garnered attention when they revealed their diet secret on TV.

KARA visited the diet challengers, on Octobre 9th broadcast of SBS's Victory.

Han Seung Yeon 1st revealed her diet routine, saying, "I eat a lot usually but i don't gain weight easily. Usually goes to the lower part of my face . Whenever i noticed that i'm gaining weight, i do running machine and jumping rope immediately. I'm singing while doing the running machine."

Park Gyuri next,"It's always good to exercise whenever i ate a lot." When asked how many hours she spends working out in a day, she reveals,“One hour cycle and one to two hours running machine i i want to do aerobic exercise, however i also work on my muscles for an hour also. "

Thin bodied Goo Hara said, "I don't do aerobic exercise but i'm working on my muscles." thus making the diet challengers jealous.

Nicole said that she is the one who put the most efforts in dieting and even shows demo of Pilates move saying, "I'm working on Pilates now."

Meanwhile, Hara surprised the challengers by showing her 21 inches waist line.
