4Minute and Thelma hit #1 in Taiwan

Teruma Aoyama has reached #1 in Taiwan.

The singer, who released her first Asia-wide album on May 6th, entitled "LOVE STORY," hit the top of Taiwan's album daily chart.

On Taiwan's two largest distribution sites, KKBOX and ezPeer, Aoyama had 7 tracks from her album charting, nearly monopolizing the top 10. Her song, "WITHOUT U" which features K-Pop sensational queens, 4minute, has hit #1.

On ezPeer's chart, which comprises of Korean and Japanese artists, Aoyama has dominated such artists as Girls Generation.

4Minute reigns over Gaon Charts for April

Recently, Korea's official chart Gaon released information on K-Pop's rankings for the month of April. To no surprise, girl group 4Minute charted high in every ranking. For online downloads, "Mirror Mirror" ceased the number one spot from strong competition. Clearly the hook of the song swept over South Korea to incite a 4Minute syndrome! The softer track, "Heart to Heart" clinched the number seven spot, even though many had once complained of it not showcasing 4Minute's unique color. That didn't seem to stop many from buying it though.

Meanwhile, over on the digital overall chart (a synthesis of online streaming, mobile sales, minihompy BGM and downloads), shadow title track "Mirror Mirror" scored the number two spot under Big Bang for total downloads for April. Many had doubted 4Minute's comeback would make any type of dent what with a senior group such as Big Bang promoting as well, but the clearly wasn't a need for much worrying since sales for both song were neck and neck. Also, the other title track "Heart to Heart" sat pretty just six spots below at number eight.

These are but a few rankings in which the 4Minute girls triumphed over in the past month.

4Minute's Sohyun's selcas garner attention

Kwon Sohyun revealed selcas with cute expressions. On May 13th, Sohyun uploaded a picture with various facial expressions on her twitter along with the words "4 bemused expressions!!!"

Inside the picture, Sohyun had light brown bobbed hair with a wavy style. Although she referred to them as "bemused," fans are calling them cute expressions.

Fans reacted with comments such as, "It's not a picture of bemused expressions, but a shot of 4 cute ones." "Even if she makes those puzzled expressions, she's really adorable."

Meanwhile, 4minute is showing their refreshing charms through their double title hits "Mirror Mirror" and "Heart to Heart."

4Minute's Hyun Ah injures hand

Kim HyunAh, with her group, 4Minute, performed at Konkuk University (Seoul) last April 11, 2011. Unfortunately, while performing on stage, Kim HyunAh got injured on her hand due to one of the mirrors used as a part of her outfit's decorations.

However, HyunAh immediately received first aid right after their performance and their agency officials told the fans not to worry for it was just a small cut.

Cube Entertainment's officials explained, "HyunAh indeed got hurt on her hand on their performance yesterday. Though the injury isn't really serious, we'll do our best not to let this thing happen again in the future."

4Minute latest successful fansigning event had 2,500 attendees!

Popular KPOP Girl group, 4Minute, with members: Nam Jihyun, Heo Gayoon, Jeon Jiyoon, Kim HyunAh and Kwon Sohyun, had a very successful autograph session with their fans at a Shomarker branch in Cheongju.

2,500 fans successfully gathered at the venue four hours earlier than their arrival just to have their albums signed by their idols.

4Minute gladly welcomed and met their fans who went on the venue. Right after finishing the autograph session, the girls left their fans with a happy and lively atmosphere.

"The event has been made in order to celebrate Shoemarker's continuous progress. We're also glad that a lot of 4Minute's fans gathered here for the fan-signing event and successfully finished it," an official stated.
