B2ST’s Dongwoon clarifies on his ‘improper greeting’ to T-ara

B2ST’s Dong Woon posted an explanation in response to a flurry of criticisms, alleging that he had improperly greeted the T-ara members.

On the December 28th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Happy Day‘, footage of Dong Woon tilting his head to the T-ara members caused some T-ara fans to believe that he was being impolite. Some commented, “T-ara is still his senior, so isn’t he being too careless?” and “It looks like he’s ignoring them.”

On December 31st, Dong Woon responded to the criticisms via Twitter. He started, ”There were some talks due to my greeting.”

“What was caught on camera was a situation in which I had already greeted my seniors [T-ara], and because they were in the middle of filming, I just slightly bowed my head to greet them. Please don’t hate me too much.”

When fans showered him with worried comments and consolation, Dong Woon replied, “I believe there must always be a clarification for comments regarding manners and character. I think you guys know the reason. I don’t get hurt that easily, so don’t worry ^^“.

More accommodating fans teasingly welcomed this seemingly stiff and unfriendly interaction, as they commented, “The beautiful (?) relationship between male and female idols!” and “All relationships between male and female idol groups should be like this“.

It appears that the scandal barely colored the relations between B2ST and T-ara, as the two groups collaborated together for SBS’s “2010 Gayo Daejun” on December 29th.

Kara's popularity in Japan rises

On a Japanese live variety show aired on the 29th, some Japanese celebrities did a parody of Kara. They had Kara's white t-shirts and Kara's pants, imitating their costumes very well and showed off "Mister" dance.

On this show, SMAP is a fixed guest and JYJ has even featured on this show before.

IU and Nicole made the mistake of lip-syncing

On the 30th, SBS Entertainment Awards were held.

Kara's Nicole and IU wore wedding dresses and performed on stage Madonna's "Like a Virgin". However they were concentrating on the performance so much that they made the mistake of not singing the start of the song.

It was a pre-recorded song so it didn't make too much difference but the fact that two singers were lip syncing was a disappointment.

There was also a mistake when MCs came on stage as well. The door which they were meant to come through didn't open so there was an unexpected pause.

Nicole and IU briefly forgot lyrics at ‘2010 SBS Entertainment Awards’

IU and KARA’s Nicole made the mistake of not singing during their opening performance at the ‘2010 SBS Entertainment Awards‘.

The two girls appeared on stage wearing white wedding dresses, and performed Madonna’s ‘Like a Virgin‘. However, because they were so focused on their choreography, they forgot to sing the beginning part of the song.

Fortunately, it was a pre-recorded number, so it was not very noticeable.

Meanwhile, the show experienced another slip-up during the entrance of MCs Shin Dong Yup, Jang Yoon Jung and Park Sun Young. Audience members felt an awkward pause because the door that the MCs were to enter from did not open; luckily, the mishap was quickly fixed.

After this accident, Shin Dong Yup said, “You guys were laughing, but we were going crazy behind there“, drawing laughter from the audience.

KBS Music Festival T-ara Jiyeon"Smile and stop the expressionless face"

Today during the KBS Music Festival, T-ara member Jiyeon displayed various face expressions and smiled during the entire performance.

T-ara have performed the popular Bo Peep Bo Peep and shared the stage with cute children. They also performed I Go Crazy Because of You, and this time showed their charismatic and sexy sides.

It seems that Jiyeon was particularity careful tonight. She smiled a lot and showed dozens of facial expressions. It looks like the debate about Jiyeon's professionalism isn't ready to end.
